I had booked the Schloss to celebrate my birthday with family & friends, and I couldn’t have imagined a better setting. The property is stunning: a beautifully restored castle that perfectly balances historic charm with modern comfort. Every corner of the estate feels like it belongs in a fairytale. We stayed with family and friends, and the spacious, stylish apartments gave everyone their own slice of luxury while still feeling incredibly homey. From the grand halls to the peaceful gardens, everything was pristine and thoughtfully curated. A special shoutout to Stefanie, the estate manager, who was very cordial and understanding all throughout and made our stay comfortable. Her warm hospitality, prompt communication, and attention to detail made everything seamless from start to finish. If you’re looking for a unique and elegant place to celebrate something special, or just escape somewhere truly extraordinary, I can’t recommend Schloss Retzow enough.

I am duke of Shloss Retzow

It's a hiden gem on Booking.com . On 20 years of traveling It's location with the best value I have been. For a price of room you get half of castle:) Exceptional experience.

Our days at Schloss Retzow were a very nice holiday.

Castle is placed rather in nature with a garden and trees. The Müritz (lake) was a few kilometers away; very well fitting for us.

No CO2 emissions were given for the Appartment usage (possible heating + electricity)

Schönes Ambiente

Schönes Apartment, nette Umgebung, freundlicher Service.

Am Anfang waren die Räume kalt, haben aber zusätzliche Decken bekommen. Leider hat der Nachbar 100 m entfernt schon um 17 Uhr angefangen zu knallen, die Hunderunde war sehr schnell zu Ende. Zum Glück sind die Räume gut Schall geschützt, so dass es mit Fernseher ging.

Ein Traum vom Wohnen im Schloss wird wahr

Wir haben ein sehr schönes Familienwochenende im Schloss verlebt. Das Wetter bot die Möglichkeit den herrlichen Park zum Picknicken, Frisbee und Football spielen zu nutzen. Das Schloss - Appartments und alle gemeinschaftlich genutzten Räume - sind mit viel Liebe renoviert und eingerichtet worden. Wir haben das Wochenende sehr genossen und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Wohnen wie in einem richtigen Schloss

Das Ambiente war wie in einem Schloss. Die eigene Ferienwohnung und auch die anderen Zimmer zur gemeinsamen Nutzung waren so eingerichtet wie damals.

Das Zustellbett für die dritte Person war kein richtiges Bett, sehr unbequem und stand in der Küche. Die ganze Nacht schien das Licht aus dem Flur ins Zimmer, da die Tür oben verglast war.

Wie im Märchen: Einmal Schlossherr auf Zeit

bei dem Schloss handelt es sich um ein klassizistisches Herrenhaus, dasss wunderschön in einer großen Anlage liegt. Allein schon der erste Eindruck ist überwältigend. Ebenso überwältigend sind die Apartments. Geräumig und sehr stilvoll und sauber eingerichtet, Naturstein-Fußboden-Kacheln, einfach nur toll! Ganz besonders ist, dass man als Gast sie Räume der Belle Etage im ersten Stock besuchen und nutzen darf. Wunderschön stilvoll eingerichtete Salons, eine komplette Bibliothek. .... KURZUM: EINFACH TOLL!!! - und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ausstattung der Küche, keine Pfanne, nur zwei Töpfe ist für einen längeren Zeitpunkt unglücklichen
