Cozy, stylish place to stay near Martigny; ideal to explore the mountains around

I loved this place! It's advertised as a double room, but you also have a private entrance, private (super clean) bathroom, private parking spot (also suitable for SUVs), a refrigerator, a microwave oven, dishware, and a kettle. Breakfast and supper are available on request, at a very convenient price. The owners are lovely and really welcoming. It felt like home. Dorenaz is a tiny village, but it's located at 10 mins drive from Martigny, and in 30/45 minutes you can be in the mountains ( Val du Trient, Portes du Soleil, Les Diablerets...)...that's why I chose this place, by the way;) Great value for money! I would definitely stay there again.

Exceeded out expectations

The host was very friendly and we had an amazingly warm welcome. There were beautiful surroundings which includes the back yard. The bed was really comfortable, the dining area had everything you could need, and we will definitely being out swim suits next time to enjoy the jacuzzi.

Friendly welcome from our hostess. Did not mind our coming early on account of a rain storm. Safe place for bikes although exposed. Access to sunroom with kettle and coffee maker.

No roadside signage to tell that we had arrived. Room rather dark. Breakfast basic. No en suite. Bathroom off passage.

Une très très bonne adresse pour un séjour sans problème.

L'accueil est ce qui se fait de mieux, Danièla et son mari sont très sympathiques et font tout pour que le séjour soit réussi. Excellent café et chocolat sont à disposition dans la chambre, sur demande on peut même prendre le repas et le petit déjeuner, de plus Danièla est une excellente cuisinière. La chambre est, il va de soi, naturellement confortable et propre.

A vrai dire , on se le demande.

Goed adres voor een paar dagen.

Ondanks de taalproblemen Frans/Nederlands hebben ze er alles aan gedaan om het ons naar onze zin te maken. Er werd zelfs voor ons gekookt.

Super miejsce z dobrą energią i serdecznymi gospodarzami

Jeżeli w podróży chcesz po prostu spotkać dobrych i ciekawych ludzi , to nie znajdziesz lepszego miejsca. Gospodarze przyjeli nas jak członków rodziny , czuliśmy się jak w domu u dawno niewidzianych przyjaciół. Mieszkanie było bardzo komfortowe, śniadanie przepyszne, w miłym towarzystwie ludzi i ptaków :-) Mogliśmy bezpiecznie przechować nasze rowery. Chcielibyśmy tu powrócić.

Rhône Radtour

Wir haben eine Radtour an der Rhône unternommen. Dafür war es ideal. Platz für Auto und Räder, guter Ausgangspunkt für den Rhôneweg. Wir haben Abendessen gebucht, was sehr individuell, auch auf Wünsche zubereitet wurde. Morgens haben wir uns selbst versorgt, auch ein Frühstück kann gebucht werden. Kaffee, Tee ist gratis. Freundliche nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die nebenan wohnen. Schöner Garten mit Kirschbäumen.
