The Dream Residence

Rif. uno dei due appartenenti al piano superiore (dotati di ampio terrazzo, gli altri due sono seminterrati al piano inferiore dotati di giardino); posizione panoramica, contesto e allestimenti esterni (idromassaggio esterno e barbecue a disposizione dell’appartamento).

Materassi e letti scomodi, deformati e da migliorare (almeno nel mio appartamento). Poca chiarezza sugli extra (aria condizionata a pagamento 35€/settimana; non indicato obbligo di cauzione di 100 € da restituire a fine fitto se non presenti danni).

The view is spectacular. We stayed in the bottom right apartment and the outside space is worth the money alone! The spa was a great place to watch the sunset from and there is a bbq area, washing machine, rocking chairs and plenty of outdoor furniture. There was direct access to the covered parking area too, which was handy. The apartment itself was basic, and you need to bring supplies, but it was clean, bright and the kitchen had a big fridge/freezer plus stove top and oven. There were plenty of glasses, plates, pots and pans etc too. Shower was great and air con was excellent. You are a few minutes drive away from all the private and public beaches of the Maldives of Salento and close to lots of small/medium sized towns. A great, relaxing and beautiful place to base yourself.

We arrived at 4pm for check in but nobody was there. It was 4:30 before somebody arrived and then it took another 90 mins to pay fees, fill the spa and get our towels and bedding. Also, there were lots of mosquitoes in the apartment that we had to swat away, but that was probably due to previous guests leaving things open as the property does have mosquito guards up. Probably best to bring a plug in if it bothers you. None of this was something that would put us off returning!
