It was in a great location, and the property was quirky and unusual and had lots of potential.
Had there been any way to use the roof space which was vast, eg BBQ and shade and furniture, we would have rated the property higher. Things that also brought down our rating were lack of kitchen equipment, a welcome pack, inefficient air conditioning, limited towels for the duration of the stay, limited waste disposal facilities, the dishwasher wasn’t emptied before our arrival, there was wine down and inside one of the cupboards, no shopping bags or anything else that would make a stay more comfortable. Initially we were going to be charged more for a late arrival, and generally didn’t feel welcome as guests.
