Beautiful house, very nicely decorated. Kitchen has all the facilities and equipment needed. Beds comfortable. Comfortabe living room. Plenty of outside seating too, at the top of the garden path to the left if facing the house is a bench made from old palettes which has an amazing view over el golfo and is a great place to have a drink and relax. Has a real rural feel but still within walking distance to facilities. El Gato Negro is a small shop around 10 minutes walk where you can get basic provisions and there is a great grill house a couple of minutes walk (closes at around 4) and also a restaurant called Sol de España within easy walking distance which opens early and closes late. Also access to walking routes nearby, both for easy and more strenuous walks. Turn left outside the house and left again near the unfinished building up hill and you reach a crossroads where you can go left on a track which runs behind the house and meets walking routes either down to el golfo meeting the coastal path from la Maceta to Punta Grande or up towards San Andrea's (we didn't try this due to low clouds and think it would be very difficult walking). Turning right at the same crossroads brings you onto the old canal route which leads to Sabinosa. There are white and yellow parallel ines on walls/roadside to indicate walking routes. Would definitely recommend staying here, its really beautiful either with or without a car.
We liked everything but just a bit of advice. The sign on the door says check out at 12, we didn't check booking.com to double check this but the check out is actually 11, so they arrived to clean for next guests just after 11 (They did kindly let us stay for the extra hour.) Also stairs to main bedroom are very steep, not a problem for us but could be an issue for people with restricted mobility ( however everything else including the twin room are on the sam
e floor)

LA PARRAGONA está muy bien ubicada en Frontera. Zona tranquila, ideal para descansar. Cerca de restaurantes, fabrica de quesadillas, cafeterías. Con vistas agradables, terraza magnífica, zona barbacoa, solarium, árboles frutales como limoneros. Cómoda, cocina amplia con enseres. Columpios para los niños, zonas al aire libre. WiFi muy bien.
Tenía ligero olor a humedad, a cerrado. Nada que no se solvente con abrir las puertas y airear. Agradecería algún pequeño champú o un pelín de sal o azúcar para el.primer día. La señal de la TELE era débil.

La ubicación
Éramos 5 personas, la habitación de la parte de abajo estaba sucia y había muchas cucarachas inglesas. La habitación tenia la pared de piedra y de ella salian cucarachas, imposible descansar. Sobre el cabecero que era de madera no habían limpiado. Cuando llegábamos por la noche el recibimiento eran las cucarachas habia por todos lados,, reservamos esta casa porque tenía barbacoa , pero fue imposible usarla. Había bastante calor pero imposible abrir las ventanas, la del dormitorio de arriba tenia una malla pero estaba rota y o me atrevi a abrirla por los bichos. La quinta persona tuvo que dormir arriba del sofá porque la cama de la parte inferior solo tenía una espuma pequeña y toda sucia. Cuando la fuimos a abrir había una cucarachas muerta encima.
El colchon de una de las camas pequeñas inservible, las almohadas tan planas que eran incomodas. Mi experiencia fue bastante mala la verdad. Es una gran casa pero deberían cuidar más esos detalles.
