The campsite is very nice and the owner takes good care of it.
There are different kind of tents, vans, mobile houses. The kitchen is well equipped. The area is big and green, so you can walk around or just sit and relax in the beautiful countryside of Sao Miguel.
Even if we were not by car, it was easy for us to reach the campsite with the local bus and a 20 min walking.
The campsite has also his own closed door, which makes the place quite safe.
The owner made the campsite environment-friendly, which helps the visitors to not waste water or energy. This is very good.
The only bad note I have is about bugs.
We found in the shower and in our van few big bugs and it was not very pleasant.
Of course this is a campsite located in the countryside of Azores, a place quite humid, so it's natural to spot them. However maybe something can be done to prevent to see too many of them around. Or maybe the vans can be sealed better.

Nice quiet camping space. Very green. Feels very safe despite the neighborhood beeing not very safe according to locals and other visitors.
Would have been helpful to know that we needed to bring our own toilet paper. If you have a simple tent you get the use of the kitchen without pots. For people who sleep in the suspended tent, white tents, vans and little houses you get the use of a different kitchen where you can use dishes, cutleries and pans.
