Step outside to a sparkling swimming pool, picnic tables, and a beautifully landscaped outdoor haven on our safely gated 2½-acre property. On a warm day, refresh yourself in the Oasis, a shaded seating area beneath stately palm trees, refreshed by cooling ocean breezes on warm days. As evening falls, gather around the intimate fire pit to enjoy the starry nights.
The property is alive with the songs of many birds, adding to the serene ambiance, and three friendly dogs who call this retreat home. Kizzy, our resident greeter, is eager to be your loyal companion during your stay. The studio is located next to our family home, and we, the owners, are delighted to welcome you personally and love seeing our guests enjoy the property’s amenities. While the studio offers a private and comfortable space, please note that it is not a secluded retreat. We often spend time in the shared garden and pool areas, and if you prefer a completely isolated stay without seeing us around the property, this studio may not be the best fit for you. However, if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming environment with a touch of furry hospitality, this is the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and community. Book now for an unforgettable retreat!

This was perhaps our best ever stay at a non-hotel residence. Fantastic for a small family willing to share a bed with their kid(s). Jenny was a delightful and caring host, and her 3 dogs, especially Kizzy (endless ball-fetching energy), were awesome. The Casita has a comfy King bed, an expansive well equipped kitchennete, and a nice shower/bathroom. The garden grounds are gorgeous (mature trees, beautiful plants, a budding orchard, a creek, pleasant sitting areas); lots of space to relax in. The pool is clean and relaxing. Location is proximal to San Diego and Coronado attractions, and near to all amenities one would need. Highly recommend.

Jenny and family were very welcoming and accommodating. The property was well manicured, secure and relaxing. Jenny was very attentive in communicating and was always very responsive. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was minimalist without TV, laundry or dishwasher but we knew that coming in - opting for a quiet and simple getaway. There were nice touches like stocked coffee, fresh lemons, limes and eggs. Kizzy the dog was always around and became our little buddy. No shortage of ball throwing and catch and fetch games! If you’re not a dog person this place isn’t for you. We would recommend ear plugs to offset the early morning rooster calls! We felt safe, welcomed and had some great sleeps. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool to ourselves. Lots of easy access to amenities nearby and this was a great stay for the price! Thank you Sanchez family!

Our host Jenny, was very welcoming, and the stay was exactly what we'd hoped for. She was there for any questions, or recommendations, and encouraged us to enjoy the property. She left fresh eggs, from the chickens, tangelos from their tree, and cut us some aloe, in case we got a sunburn. Would definitely recommend, especially if you love dogs. They have three, but we were spent the most time, playing with Kizzy, he was so much fun, and such a good boy
