Good place to stay near the airport

Easy to find and hassle-free check-in. The place had everything we needed, simple, nice and clean. It was also relatively quiet, which we appreciated. Good value for money for a quick stay near the airport.

Adequate for the night before flying out. Pitas across the road were really good.

Location was close to the airport and close to restaurants and supermarket. Area is quiet and ideal for a stay the night before flying home. The lift may it easy to access with suitcases.

The bed was uncomfortable. Mattress had no support. The shower didn't drain very well, thus running into the rest of the bathroom which included the toilet. Any condiments available looked like leftovers from previous travellers. Balcony had not been cleaned and the cushions on the seats were all wet.

Convenient, clean, safe area, standard apartment, good for up to 4 people.

We needed one night stay from the airport, so we were not there long. The location is 10 minutes from the airport and at the corner of an area with a couple restaurants. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant they recommended called ATAKA. The space was large enough for 3-4 people! The beds were comfortable, large shower/bathroom, nice balconies. It served its purpose and fulfilled our needs.

We noticed many places in Greece do not have power in the bathroom, so I suggested putting a mirror in the bedroom for personal care, like doing hair :)

Great stay and will definitely stay again when in Spatsas

Everything you need when traveling was in the apartment, including an emergency kit with bandaids etc.

The only negative was it was hard to find from Google maps. The exact location put me in a rotary trying to find the building. Not being familiar with the streets made it difficult, but after I got out of the car and looked at the buildings I found it. Perfect location!

Great Stay – Just Missing One Thing

The location was excellent, the room was spacious, and self check-in was very easy and convenient. The only downside was that there was no shampoo or conditioner provided in the bathroom. Otherwise, a great stay!

Perfect for accommodation near a hotel!

Seamless information and easy to understand instructions. Close to a lovely cafe and some restaurants. Large spacious apartment- fit for purpose!

It was one of the properties that had not been updated as it does not look like the bright photos! Could do with brightening up and a few wine glasses!

A great place to stay in between flights!

I’ve stayed at this property 3 times now. I love its location in Spata. The management has great communication as well. Also, check out Sofiano’s for a coffee before your flight or a cocktail when you arrive. Only a 3 min walk from the property and opens early/closes late.

Disappointing

No outlet in the bathroom. But worst of all the kitchen was infested with ants. At 4:30am we had to check all our belongs to make sure we weren’t taking any ants with us. I would like to add that even though the property responded that ants were due to open food that is untrue! We had no food. We were there just to sleep before our flight!

The location was very handy for the Athens airport. The hosts were extremely helpful in organising transport from the ferry terminal during a taxi strike and for a 5 am taxi to the airport. Good location- lots of cafes, etc.

It worked out for a place near the airport but I would seek another option in the future

Clean. Plenty of hot water. Convenient to a couple of nearby cafes.

It felt like a prison - all concrete grey with little decor, and the windows looked straight into other apartments where those occupants looked straight in. The AC unit in the bedroom would not turn on, so I woke up hot at 4 am. I finally reset it to get it on. The bed was hard and the pillow lacked decent support.

Our 1 night stay was great

We liked how easy it was to get into the room, the TV had Netflix and the shower was huge. There was a kitchenette as well that I liked. They were also able to book a pickup for us to head back to the airport the next morning.

It was a little loud outside, we didn't realize how close to a busy street we were. It was a little uneasy for us to arrive in the evening. I am sad that the food delivery app they recommended did not work with my phone but we stayed only 1 night so I didn't try anything else.

Clean and close to the airport

Check in was super easy and there were some nice recommendations for restaurants in Spata. Perfectly located for a night close to Athens Airport.

The picture looks nothing like the actual flat. It's pretty cold in the winter and really not the kind of place you really want to spend a lot of time in. But I guess if you are there it's for the proximity to the airport so I guess you wouldn't.

Suited the purpose but a bit off the beaten path.

Overall, this was fine. In terms of being close to the airport for an early morning flight, it suited that purpose for a reasonable price and was located close to the town square where we were able to grab a tasty dinner on our last night in Greece, and gave us a taste of a more authentic Greek town as opposed to a tourist location. It appeared to be clean enough, water was included in the fridge, and the hosts, although we never met in person, were communicative about how to access the room, and everything worked as it should have. One thing to note - we were there on a Saturday night and there was extremely loud live music coming from the square the ENTIRE length of our stay, from arrival to when we were trying to go to sleep. Not that we didn't appreciate the music, it sounded great and was entertaining - up to a point. It was noted that the room came equipped with several disposal packages of earplugs - so either they were there for the purpose of air travel passengers - or to quiet the sound of the music. The suite was quite large, but lacked warmth overall.

After catching an Uber at Athens airport (after arriving back from Santorini before our flight home the next day), and giving our driver the address of the property as it was given to us, we discovered quickly (by tracking on our own GPS) that we were NOT headed towards the hotel. As our driver didn't speak English, we're not sure if he was taking us the "long way" to extend his fare, or if we were given incorrect directions (address) to the property, but once we were able to show him on our phone where we were headed, we finally arrived at the hotel after being driven about 30 minutes out of our way. This can be stressful when you're travelling in a country you're not familiar with. So although this hotel is close to the airport if your driver knows how to get there, perhaps it may be less hassle to stick to a chain hotel near the airport that may be easier to locate.

It worked very well for an overnight alternative to airport hotel,local restaurants, supermarket.

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent shower, comfortable bed and comfortable living room. Excellent hairdryer. Kitchen supplied with essentials and a Nespresso machine was appreciated. The management communicated very well and arranged excellent taxi service for airport transfers.

Fantastic clean and close to the airport apartment!

Very clean, comfortable and close to the airport. It’s also in a local neighbourhood which if you happen to be there on the weekend, goes off in the evening and you can witness Greek traditional music and dance at the restaurant nearby. As well, the hosts were incredibly helpful and provided the best transfer service. Do not take Ubers or any other app service while in Athens! Most are unreliable but their private transfer drivers are very reliable, friendly, honest and have justified prices. If necessary book their transfers in advance. I made the mistake of trying to take my own from the port to the apartments. Big mistake! This was a great place overall! Highly recommend!
