About this house rental
A romantic and charming Valais-style chalet in Bächerhäusern, a small hamlet in Grengiols. The chalet is perfect for two people who love nature. It’s ideal for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, or simply enjoying some pure relaxation. Fiesch and Betten (the valley station for Bettmeralp) are just a few minutes away by car and are also easily accessible from the Grengiols train station via the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway.
On the ground floor, the chalet features a dining room with a kitchen, a fireplace, and a bathroom with a toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee maker, and dishes. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and hair dryer. Dish towels and bath towels are provided for your use.
You can reach the upper floor via a ladder staircase. There you’ll find a living room, a bedroom, and a small bathroom with a sink and toilet. The bed (1.40 m wide) is, of course, freshly made.
Through the balcony door, you’ll step out onto a spacious balcony offering breathtaking views of the mountain landscape. Below, there’s a terrace with a nice seating area and an outdoor grill.
Next to the chalet is a stable. There, you’ll find firewood ready for a romantic fire in the fireplace.
In the village of Grengiols, there is a restaurant and a supermarket. The train station is about a 30-minute walk away.
Public parking is available a 3-minute walk from the chalet, near the Grengiols chapel.

"Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region.

Wer auf Natur und Aktivurlaub steht, wird nicht viel bessere Gegenden finden. Einfach toll und man wir haben in 10 Tagen nicht alles geschafft.
Die Unterkunft ist einfach toll und bietet im Original Schweizer Stil alles was man braucht. Wirklich sehr zum empfehlen

Das Chalet ist wirklich ein Bijou! Ich kann wirklich nur positives schreiben. Es ist sauber, hat alles wo mensch braucht (auch eine Bialetti) und die Kommunikation war super! Vielen Dank und wenn ich wieder mal Ferien im Oberwallis machen will, ist dieses Chalet auf jeden Fall meine erste Wahl!
