About this house rental

Newly installed AIR CONDITIONING provided throughout the house to provide added comfort to this already comfortable and luxurious home. This spacious home is within walking distance (or short drive) to Queen's Bath, Hideaways, Anini & Pua Poa Beach. The beautiful lanai features gorgeous mountain & ocean views! For golf enthusiasts, the Makai Golf Course is a short distance from this home. The Princeville Public Library, Park, walking path & shopping center is only a mile drive away! The shopping consists of all the conveniences necessary for your trip! Within a short drive is the charming town of HANALEI with its quant restaurants and bay. Continue a few miles up the road world class surfing and snorkeling at Ha'ena (Tunnels) beach. Keep going another half mile to the spectacular hiking and scenery at the Na Pali coast.

The upstairs floor features a spacious kitchen, living room, convinent half bathroom, covered lanai with both ocean and mountain views. There are 4 spacious bedrooms in the home. The master suite is enormous; furnished with a Tempur-Pedic king bed, walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has a queen sized Tempur-Pedic bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds that can be used as is or re-configured into a king-sized bed. The 4th and final bedroom is downstairs and is a large pseudo-master suite. The downstairs bedroom has a California King mattress. The bedroom has sitting couches and a ceiling fan. Outside of this fourth bedroom there is a secondary living room with a sectional couch that sleeps two additional guests. The downstairs living room has a bathroom and 55 inch television. This downstairs quarters has all the amenities of a second master suite.

This beautiful home is adorned with everything that you could possibly need to have a memorable Hawaiian vacation. The home is furnished with Tommy Bahama aloha furniture throughout the home. Additionally, the home has Tempur-Pedicure mattresses in the bedrooms. The kitchen has everything that your culinary hearts desires: Calphalon pots and pans, Mr. Coffee maker, a French press, Cuisinsart Coffee grinder, Lenox cutlery and a pantry full of spices and herbs for your cooking wants and needs.

The house comes with free WiFi, 3 TVs (sizes ranging from 70 to 55 inches) and access to movies and content on both Netflix and Amazon videos. Ceiling fans and windows throughout the home allow for the famous Hawaiian cooling trade winds to bring both aloha and comfortable breezes into the home. The backyard is a tropical and secluded paradise. The backyard has a patio for outdoor grilling and entertaining. There is a large grass area for playing and plentiful fruit trees to pick for your enjoyment.

AMAZING NEIGHBORHOOD! Great house with tons of space, keep in mind there’s a lot of stairs so this house won’t be the best fit for those who can’t do stairs. Upstairs patio was the best part of the house & the backyard is like a mini jungle - even has 2 swings! The furniture is a bit dated & could be a bit more modern, but the amenities for the beach & for kids were really top notch (5 bikes, beach chairs/umbrellas, pool table, coloring books, etc) Overall we loved the stay!

We had a lovely stay in this Princeville house. We had fun driving to the beach close by in Hanalei, playing soccer on the fields near the community center and relaxing! The owner was incredibly responsive and check in and out were seamless. For those considering accessibility when booking, this property has many levels with steps separating the levels. The main level (entry level) has 3 of the bedrooms. The kitchen and living room is upstairs and the final bedroom with a sitting area outside of the room, is located down a level of stairs that are deeper and steeper than the other stairs in the house. The kitchen was well stocked and we were treated to albatross babies getting ready to fledge around the corner in multiple directions! There were a few things in the house that need attention (fridge water and ice dispensers, a few burners on the stove, etc), but these were small things that didn’t impact our stay! This house worked great for our multigenerational family including young children, teens, and several adults, along with seniors.

We loved our stay here in Kauai. There were 10 of us (our family and grandparents) and the layout/bedroom arrangement suited our family perfectly. There was lots of space to spread out and gather. Well stocked with a great assortment of surf boards, body boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, great kids books, games, ect. The kids loved the pool table in the garage! House is in a nice, quiet neighborhood that had great walking trails around the golf course and was a nice walk to the grocery store and ice cream. We drove around the island and this was definitely our favorite part for the lush greenery! Short driving distance to lots of beaches- Hanale Bay was our favorite!

Highest quality home and furnishings. 3 stories - basement bed/living suite leading out to huge lush yard; street level with master suite and 2 bedroom/bath suite; upper story with kitchen, 1/2bath, living room and corner lanai with views of both mountains and sea. Both owner and manager were extremely helpful/responsive. Lots of beach toys in garage; play area for kids under stairs. 10 minute drive to Hanalai beach - perfect for families.

The home and property were spacious and beautiful, everyone had their own space to spread out. The access to beach equipment was very helpful and fun for our family. Only complaints were the bug problem in the kitchen area and the property description states that it is next to and walkable to the beaches. We had to drive to get to the nearest beach areas.Everything else was great!!

Wow!!! What a great place! We had nine in our party. There was plenty of room for everyone. The lanai was perfect for relaxing. The house was clean and had plenty of beach supplies. There are 3 beaches within a short drive or walk. Hanalei was just down the road and a ton of fun. Would definitely recommend!!!

This was our first time traveling as an extended family and this home was perfect for everyone- ages 6 months to 61 years. There was ample space for everyone in our party (9 in total, including the baby) and all the amenities we needed (plenty of kitchen tools, plates, silver ware, a grill, bath towels, beach towels, snorkels, boogie boards, a pack n play and other baby goods, etc, etc, etc). We fit 3 cars in the driveway easily. Princeville is a terrific neighborhood for walks, bike rides and enjoying peace and quiet. There is a good grocery store very close by and our favorite small town in the world, Hanalei, is a 15 minute scenic drive from the house. The south and west sides of the island are an hour drive away, and worth exploring, but the drive is so beautiful, you don't even notice. Communication was easy and responsive. The rate was very good for what you get. If you haven't been to Kauai, please know that it is a life-changing experience (my grumpy dad's words). If you have been and appreciate the north shore this is a gem for mid-size families.

Our family, including kids and grandkids, were quite comfortable in Matt's Princeville home. It has great access to the beaches, trails and shops on the north shore of Kauai, and is well stocked with beach and snorkle gear and boards, and indoor and outdoor games for guest use. We prepared all our breakfasts and dinners in the well-outfitted kitchen and greatly enjoyed the fresh fish and sushi from Dolphin Fish Market. The house was just as represented and a pleasure to be in. We had a wonderful week in Kauai. Thanks to Matt and family.

Thanks for letting us stay here. Good - A/C worked great, all appliances worked, garage full of beach items to use for free, plus a washer/dryer. Opportunity - listed as a few minute walk to the beach but you have to be a mountain goat to take the trail that is not marked....don't bother. Also the basement bedroom & bath needs some TLC, furniture in the home could use upgrading, furnishings a bit dated. Even though it's not a 5 star it served our group of 8 just fine. It's in a quiet subdivision only 10-15 minutes from the main village.

Plenty of room for everyone. We had 6 kids under 10 with one being a baby. The master had a huge walk-in closet where we could sequester the portable crib they had there. My 3 kids shared the basement master with one on the modular couches and 2 in the bed. Large shower was great to have them all shower off at once upon returning from beaches. We utilized the snorkel gear and the sand toys available which was really nice to have since most places don’t have things for little kids. Fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils and dishes you might need to cook anything. My only concern was the stairs- the stairs to the basement were larger than normal and steep so they wouldn’t be good for anyone unsteady or too little to be careful. The rest of the house would be fully accessible though without issue. Close by the local stores and short drives to lots of beaches. Park nearby had a farmers market and playground we used. Couldn’t say enough great things about where we stayed- would recommend to anyone.

House was well stocked --- everything you could need in the kitchen as well as to enjoy yourself at the beach. We enjoyed the views off the balcony in the mornings...mountains to the left and you get a glimpse of the ocean to the right. One of the TVs in the bedroom stopped working and the on-island contact, Monica, was very friendly and quick to remedy. She gave us great recommendations for the remainder of our stay as well. Our interaction with the owner, both pre-trip and during, was positive. Our stay was cut shorter than originally planned, but memories were made.

Plenty of room for 9 of us. Neighbors told us of a shortcut to Sea Lodge beach from the street. Kids and grands called it their private beach. Also gave us directions to a turtle cave just a hike away. Parking for Queens Bath is in subdivision. Wish owners would have included some information about these kinds of things. Spent alot of time at Hanalei Bay which is only about 10 minutes away. I was a bit surprised that the home was in a residential area. I thought it would be more secluded, but it turned out fine. All snorkeling equipment and other water stuff was there.

This was a great house. Just as described. We went with out family of 4 my sister inlaws family of 4 and my mother in law. There was plenty of space. The house was well maintained and the owner was good about getting back to us if we needed anything. There are a bunch of beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, a cooler, snorkle gear, beach umbrellas and other things to use that were super helpful and made our stay more enjoyable. This home was an exceptional property. There was plenty of space for our large party. There were so many fun things to do at the house and so many things to borrow for the beach! The house was very clean and well maintained. Matt was really easy to work with and sent us several messages before our stay to ensure we had all our questions answered. Overall this was an amazing vacation rental. Our only critic is that it did get warm with no AC. We were out exploring during the day, so the fans were off. When we would return it would be warm in the house. Would still return even with the heat.

The house was excellent and the hosts were great. We had 10 of us here comfortably and enjoyed a well appointed kitchen (we liked being able to cook in often, make sure and grab some fresh fish from the dolphin) everything was excellent and we would definitely stay here again. The only downside to staying here is after two weeks it feels like home and is really hard to leave! Thanks again to our excellent hosts!
