This sweet retreat was truly that - a freestanding space in a quiet setting a little ways from Baker City’s Main Street. The accomodations were as described and clean, welcoming and well-supplied. The hostess promptly replied to questions from her amateur travelers (us). The snacks were a nice touch. The AC and ceiling fan provided sufficient cooling when outside temps hit 103 or so. Thank you!

Fantastic little "Casita", clean and welcoming. Kitchen layout was a little difficult to maneuver as it was so small, but this really didn't affect our enjoyment, as we had planned on dining out during our stay. The quiet and peaceful location was perfect - although we were able to view wildlife from our window and from the deck, we were very close to town, so that we could easily go explore the local shops, see the sights, and learn the history of Baker City. The hostess provided lots of little "extras", which was a nice surprise. I would definitely choose to stay here again, should I get the opportunity. Highly recommend!

It was a nice, separate building with a shared gas firepit. Deer were all around, including one I startled in the morning which had been sleeping right outside our door. The only negative I have is the Wi-Fi. It was very bad. Our phones were basically unusable when connected. Wi-Fi extenders such as what they used don't really work all that well, especially when the base router is a long ways away. In case the host is reading this: A wireless mesh system might do better, but the trick with those is to put the remote unit about halfway between the router and the location you want to serve. (BTW, I work with this stuff for a living. :)

We appreciated this little spot during my son's Basketball State Championship! Great, clean, quiet place to get a good rest, read, play cards, daughter did schoolwork in between games. It does have a memory foam mattress which many people love, just an fyi. Great communication with owners and I appreciated their flexibility with us.

Clean and quiet. WiFi was not good at all so if you need to get work done you’ll have to hotspot it. If staying a day or two it’s really quite perfect. However there’s only a small fridge and microwave with just a few small plates no bowls and no place to prepare food so longer stays may not be ideal unless you want to eat out all the time or do take out. Probably not a place to stay if you have heavy items to pack in as it’s several stairs down to the bungalow.

This little place is adorable and perfect for our quick stop in Baker City. Kimberly was ready to meet us and give us a tour. The grounds are beautiful- the pictures online do not do it justice!
