Clean, comfortable Amish built cedar and oak cabin. Very pet friendly. Sleeps 6 or 7 adults. 384 square feet down stairs, with a Hid a bed and one couch. I loft 96 square feet with 2 twin beds and another loft 96 square feet with a double bed. large back deck over looking the buffalo farm. Full kitchen fully furnished, washer and dryer. All pavement road access . Large front yard for the kids to play, with fire pit and picnic tables. The cabin is cute and was cozy for my daughter and I to stay at while we visited the Buffalo National River. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill, and the hosts inviting us to tour their buffalo farm was the highlight of the trip (especially meeting the water buffalo). We had a lot of fun in Marshall - don't skip the drive-in theater if you stay! - and intend to return again later in the season. If you have mobility issues, this particular cabin might not be the best one, but they have two others that would work quite well. Everything we needed was stocked, plenty of towels, and there's a grocery store close by for stocking the fridge. All in all a 5-star trip!

The cabin was cute and had plenty of sleeping room and loads of room for us to park and the kids to run around and play. But the real selling feature for this property are the owners. We had a family emergency which required a cabin at a moment's notice and a place to store a large trailer with animals. The owner was very accommodating, giving us a great rate, stayed up late to welcome our family members and make sure they were doing okay and settled in. The next morning, he stopped to check in on us, offer expert advice on how to solve our problems and offered his help any time in the future. Without going into a lot of detail, suffice it to say that without his compassion and hospitality, we would have been in a crisis situation. We have never been so well-treated and have now made a life-long friend!

This is our second time staying in this cabin. We all loved it. Clean quiet beautiful. Plenty of space for kids to run and play outside They added a hot tub on the back deck since the last time and that was awesome!! Not far from stores and Buffalo. The kids got to see their baby water Buffalo and help feed it too. We will be going back every year we love it.

We came to town to canoe on the river and really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and had all the necessities. It was very private, but also convenient to town and only about 20 min to the river. Our host checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The tour of the farm was fabulous! The kids loved snuggling the emu and feeding the baby water buffalo and bison. The beds aren’t the best, but the air conditioning was great & there was plenty of hot water. The hot tub was great & our host left plenty of firewood for evening bonfires. We would definitely go back!

Its just the rustic feel I was looking for. I will say we opted to sleep on the couch and recliner bc we didn't feel like climbing up to the lofts each night.(and the beds weren't as comfortable as I am accustomed to). Not only did we enjoy hanging out in the quant cabin, relaxing in the pop up hot tub, star gazing on a clear night, and lounging by the outdoor campfire. Meeting with our host to feed the animals was the highlight of the trip! We also enjoyed doing things in the area: The town of Marshall was adorable and fun to explore. There is a beautiful overlook with a small coffee shop 10 minutes away. Tyler Bend Buffalo National River visitor center is about 25 minutes away, completely free to visit/ hike/ watch a short film over the history of river becoming the first national river in America. (There is also even more availability to see the stars at the river if you go at night). We fit in a lot of fun and adventure but also time of slowing down and resting. Just what we wanted!

This is the perfect location if you want to explore the middle and lower Buffalo. L.C. is an excellent host. He gave us a tour of his farm and introduced us to the buffalo, emus, and cattle. Leann the emu is precious. The cabin had everything to cook a meal, but we chose to patronize the local restaurants. Nothing fancy in Marshall, but good food at a responsible price. The drive-in movie at Marshall is a must if you've been to one.

Our family rented the cabin for a weekend float trip. It slept the seven of us comfortably. As a nice surprise, fhe owner had recently added a new hot tub on the back deck. The owner went above and beyond giving us a lengthy tour of his farm. The kids thoroughly enjoyed meeting and feeding all of the animals. We will be staying here again soon!

Great mini-house with washer/dryer. Note that the beds (except hideabeds) are up in lofts with attic-type access stairs (and low clearance). No WiFi, if that matters to you. Bring an HDMI cable if you want to use the TV for viewing. It is connected to 1 DVD player with a non-HDMI connection so you likely can‘t re-use that cable. We had a great experience!
