The Asri Villas

Villa Asri is perfect for our 1 night stay. Staff were amazing even-though our check in time was midnight. 5-minutes walk to the beach.

- Location is close to the beach - Garden is very beautiful The place has a lot of potential and looks nice at first glance, until

- it’s called “villas” but it’s a bedroom and a bathroom, similar to a hotel room - basic hygiene lacks: outdoor kitchen is very dirty, changing of trash bag takes too long so it starts smelling bad, kitchen cloth and sponge are filthy. Bean bags in pool area are extremely filthy with hundreds of maggots in between them - bathroom smells bad as if the toilet is not being cleaned and sand on the floor, which consequently ends up in the bedroom and in the bed so you always have to wear slippers going to the bathroom - staff was weird about changing the sheets, they lied that I didn’t allow them to change it while i explicitly requested them to do it, but they put the sheets even back on after I took them off and placed the dirty wet towels folded on the bed… - pillows are extremely nasty when you take the pillow cases off - i had to tell them multiple times to change the table cloth at the pool because it was very dirty for days and days - owner hangs out in his underpants in pool area instead of swimwear. It’s very uncomfortable and unprofessional - owner felt comfortable expressing his racist rant about previous Chinese tourists to me when I complained about the sheets. I found it extremely gross behavior. - rooms are extremely noisy, you can hear literally everything - there was construction of the roof before 8 am without any prior notice, which woke me up harshly

Staff were really nice and kind. They cleaned a lot. The pool was lovely, and the atmosphere was generally very welcoming.

There were some noises in the roof at night.

The location was peaceful and very close to the beach. Would suggest hiring a moped to get around. The staff are just lovely. Warm, friendly and helpful.

It is close to mosques and the call to prayers start around 5am. However this is not the fault of the resort. It’s everywhere in this area.

It is really beautiful and the beach nearby is stunning especially at sunset. Breakfast was a win. We were able to rent a scooter from them. The staff are nice, the owners are sweet and gave us a lift to our next location which I really appreciate.

My toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor every time I flushed so it didn’t smell pleasant. I had messaged about it and was ignored. My shower was cold for 2 nights of my stay, after I told a staff member they told me to wait. Luckily the owner was around and it was finally fixed.

It’s a beautiful little place and the rooms are very comfortable. I really liked having the hammock out side to laze on. The location was amazing no more than a 5 min walk through some country land with palm trees and cows to get to the most amazing beach - I am mean WOW and it’s empty. There is a nice hotel in the front if the beach in a totally different price bracket;-) that served amazing food at a very reasonable price and will let you use their pool for free if you buys drinks 😀 there is a local family that does pink buffalos walks from the fishing village you can see them bathe and also walk through the rice paddies with the family (not the buffalo) i would recommend this just google pink buffalos walks west Africa i really loved it.

The service was quite slow it’s Bali so that’s ok this is just compared to other places I stayed if a similar kind in Bali
