The Asri Villas

Nice quiet little bungalows set in a beautiful garden. Delicious breakfast and close to the beach.

Asri Villas are set in a lush and thick garden, with complete privacy. There is a gorgeous pool with relaxing tables, chairs, loungers. Because there are few villas, its quiet and peaceful. Aris, the villa manager is a wonderful host. Very helpful and kind. He prepares a very beautiful and tasty breakfast and will make you fresh juice. He is a good cook! Beds are comfortable, aircon works, big fridge in room. Our villa's bathroom was outdoors and it was a pleasure to shower under the sky and the flowers of a frangipani tree. You can bring food to cook as there is a small kitchen outside too. Everything is clean, smells nice and is beautifully presented. The structures are well designed and well built. The beach is an 8 min walk down a little path.

It would have been nice to have a top sheet, not just the blanket to sleep under. Small detail.

Die Lage mitten in einem tropischen Garten mit Riesen Bambus und Palmen. Der großzügige Bungalow mit Veranda und das Klasse Outdoor Badezimmer. Die Besitzer sowie das Staff war super freundlich und immer bemüht uns zu helfen bei Wäsche etc. Wir wurde herzlich willkommen geheißen und verabschiedet wie Familie! Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in Medewi 🌊🌴🙏🏼

- it’s called “villas” but it’s a bedroom and a bathroom, similar to a hotel room - basic hygiene lacks: outdoor kitchen is very dirty, changing of trash bag takes too long so it starts smelling bad, kitchen cloth and sponge are filthy. Bean bags in pool area are extremely filthy with hundreds of maggots in between them - bathroom smells bad as if the toilet is not being cleaned and sand on the floor, which consequently ends up in the bedroom and in the bed so you always have to wear slippers going to the bathroom - staff was weird about changing the sheets, they lied that I didn’t allow them to change it while i explicitly requested them to do it, but they put the sheets even back on after I took them off and placed the dirty wet towels folded on the bed… - pillows are extremely nasty when you take the pillow cases off - i had to tell them multiple times to change the table cloth at the pool because it was very dirty for days and days - owner hangs out in his underpants in pool area instead of swimwear. It’s very uncomfortable and unprofessional - owner felt comfortable expressing his racist rant about previous Chinese tourists to me when I complained about the sheets. I found it extremely gross behavior. - rooms are extremely noisy, you can hear literally everything - there was construction of the roof before 8 am without any prior notice, which woke me up harshly
