Great Villas estudios & residences - THE KAHLO

Tuvimos una muy buena experiencia. El alojamiento es moderno, limpio y muy cómodo. Nos gustó mucho la tranquilidad del lugar y la buena atención del personal. La ubicación es práctica para recorrer Playa del Carmen y moverse por la zona, porque está alejado de los antros, pero para ir caminando a la 5ta está perfecto. La relación precio-calidad nos pareció excelente. Si volvemos a Playa del Carmen, sin dudas consideraríamos hospedarnos nuevamente aquí.

It was a pleasure to be on this beautiful apartment. All details was perfect, also the whole service. Very quiet, close to the beach and malls, and totally full of confort. I recomend it at all. Thank you very much.

drobne usterki w łazience (obluzowana główka od prysznica), okna mieszkań na parterze wychodzą na wąskie przejście i zaraz potem murek. pewien problem polegał na tym, że właściciel oczekiwał weryfikacji poprzez wysłanie skanu dowodu/paszportu przez stronę www, która nie gwarantuje bezpieczeństwa danych, dla mnie no go. ale udało się porozumieć

Good location, near Av. Constituentes with a large super market, taquerías, restaurants, healthfood store, and tourist area/beach within an easy walk.

The pictures of this property make it look a lot better than the reality. I feel I paid way too much for my stay here the week of NYE. The room smelled badly of mold, which irritated my allergies. It’s an older building and probably needs mold remediation. I noticed dark stains coming down the wall by the air conditioner. A few times I did not have hot water for the shower. Not enough towels and no way to ask for more. There is no staff on site, with a lock box for your keys which could be good or bad depending on your perspective, but if you have a problem, I’m not sure it would be easy to get fast assistance. I had the impression whoever I corresponded with representing the property via booking was an AI bot. I DO NOT think it’s the cleaning staff’s fault - they do a good job with what they have - this is an older building that needs a lot more done to it beyond slapping a Frida Kahlo mural on it to make it trendy.
