About this house rental
This Georgian estate luxury property rental in Waterford, Ireland sits on 13 landscaped acres and features a gated entrance, hot tub, grass tennis court, high speed internet, beautiful gardens filled with flowers in the late spring/summer, and a private 9 green/18 hole par 3 golf course.
The main house has four bedrooms: an en-suite master with a king bed, two guest bedrooms one with a king bed and the other a queen bed, and a fourth guest bedroom with a twin bed that pulls out into a double twin. In the main house there are three full bathrooms: one on the main floor and two on the second floor. There is a fourth full bathroom in the workout room.
The main house has a large kitchen with two refrigerators, an AGA stove and a regular stove, dishwasher, coffee machine and espresso maker as well as other appliances (a full list is available upon request). There is dining room (dining table seats 10) with working working fireplace, living room with working fireplace, and family room with working fireplace. There are two clothes washers and two clothes dryers on the property, one set in the main house and the other in the cottage. You will also find a third floor pool room/bar with Guinness on tap(for an additional charge), and a 1,000 bottle wine room. There are smart TVs in the family room, third floor bar area, and work out room. The work out room has an elliptical, Nordic track stationary bike, free weights, sauna and a full bathroom.
The cottage directly across from the main house has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room area and loft (sleeping is not permitted in the loft area), and is fully air conditioned. There are smart TVs in both bedrooms, the living room area and in the loft.
On the grounds there is a large, wrap-around stone patio with patio furniture and grill, 13 beautifully landscaped acres and a stained glass gazebo overlooking the golf course. The course is a private 9 green/18 hole par 3 -- the only home in Ireland with its own private course! Four of the holes are fully lit for nighttime play. There is also a meticulously maintained grass tennis court. The property offers complete privacy as it is surrounded by beautiful farmland on three sides and the River Suir on the fourth (river is not directly accessible from the grounds). There is a full time gardener and a full-time groundskeeper who maintains the course. *If the renter prefers, the gardener and groundskeeper can adjust their working hours to give as much privacy as the renter requires.

Check in very easy and helpful. Kitchen and outdoor grill great for 8 diners. Car needed but reasonably close to shops, beach, sights. Grounds are outstanding and golf course lots of fun. Our six year old grandson wanted to know if we could live there forever. Am considering it.

We recently held an executive corporate retreat at Cuan na Mara. It’s an absolutely stunning property with outstanding amenities. The on-property lighted golf course was a special treat in the evenings. I can confidently say it exceeded our every expectation for a unique and memorable corporate getaway. The meticulously preserved Georgian estate provided the perfect backdrop for strategic planning sessions, while offering our team an unparalleled level of comfort and sophistication.

Our group of 4 adults (2 couples) had a wonderful time during our stay at this overwhelming impressive “Georgian estate!” Even though none of us are “real golfers” (each of us usually plays only once or twice a year) we couldn’t resist the opportunity to play a round of 18 holes of par 3 golf in our own backyard! What an experience! (Yes….we took a lot of photos!). The location is very private, but Waterford City Center is very accessible. We enjoyed going to Waterford for shopping, dinner and pubs. We also drove to Midleton and Wexford to explore those two nearby cities. This is and Excellent Vacation location in the southeast of Ireland!

What a great experience we had at Cuan Na Mara, a beautiful and peaceful location near the medieval city of Waterford, but total country setting. Plenty of activities available including their private 18 hole golf course which was so much fun! Great location to set up for a holiday travel, or to just relax. Wonderful!
