Romantic House

This is a beautiful rustic home. Has AMAZING view of the Italian countryside/ is surrounded by vineyards. It is a quiet location. This home is connected to another hotel "La Veronica Resort" in Chianti. We were able to partake in their lovely provided breakfast in the morning (can pay separately for that) and they even invited us to use the resort pool. The home itself has all amenities needed; includes soaps, blow dryer, towels. It was sparkling CLEAN! Has a kitchen, and 2 bedrooms, very cozy. Loved this home.

DIRECTIONS: When you get to the crossroads, follow the road on the right hand side "Santo Stefano Vendita e Degustazione". This is a LONG winding dirt road. Keep going to the very top. When you reach the top (you will come to a large home/ building) take a left. You will want to follow the dirt road until you come to La Veronica Resort. The home is not affiliated with this resort, but it does come up on google maps, so this may be easier for you to type into google maps to find the farm house. The rustic farm house is literally situated on the side of La Veronica resort with big red doors, and a front patio with a table and chairs. It was hard for us to find this place, but hope these directions will help someone else! Secondly, no contact at ALL with the host of the farmhouse. The phone number we were given did not work when we tried to contact the host. When we arrived, they were unaware that we were coming/ forgot that the home was booked. There just happened to be a cleaner who was in the home, who quickly cleaned and got the home ready for us. We felt bad for the housekeeper, as they were not told we were coming! We had to wait about 1 hr for them to get the house ready, which took time out of our evening. All of our questions we directed to the man at the front desk of La Veronica Resort, who was OH SO HELPFUL! He is the one who ultimately gave us the key to the home, and reassured us that we could use the resort facilities while we waited for the farmhouse to be cleaned. We hope that the host improves her communication, and makes directions better for the guests staying here. Again, once situated, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Perfect location, great host - very responsive. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. Great parking, quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Would stay here again anytime!

It was a bit difficult to find the house - better signage on the road and a house number would have helped a lot.

fantastic view, nice furniture, lovely setting. pool has generous size (15 metres). we would have stayed longer if we could.

Molto bella la struttura,ma per arrivarci bisogna arrampicarsi in auto su una strada sterrata,quasi un sentiero…molto pericolosa se incontrate,come è capitato a me,auto che scendono a tutta velocità

Da premettere che la proprietaria sta a Torino e il telefono lo spegne,se si accorge della chiamata richiama dopo ore…siamo arrivati alle 8 di sera (quindi era scuro)su questa collina senza nessuno che ci aspettava e la proprietaria che non rispondeva al tel,organizzazione zero
