KEYFIELD TERRACE SERVICED APARTMENTS

Very cute and bijoux apartment. The twin room was comfortable and the location was perfect for getting to and from the cathedral and town centre. The area was nice and quiet - hearing birdsong upon arrival and not pub noise was very welcome. The communication between myself and the hosts was excellent although I’m sorry we didn’t get to meet in person, all conversations were polite and informative - Thankyou so much to Sarah for her messages regarding the keys to the property and other information etc. The wifi was also great - so much faster than what I have at home so Yeay!!

Easy-to-follow instructions on accessing the property. Convenient location / distance from the train station (St Albans City). Comfortable sleep. Clean bedding and towels were provided. Host was very nice and amiable. For a self-catering B&B / a room to rest overnight, this was all I was needing and so it met my expectations and core requirements.

Wi-Fi was not working and was awaiting repair. I was not told this in advance, so I spent ages trying to connect, until I gave up and used my own mobile hotspot to do work on my laptop. I only found out the next morning from the owner who apologised and said the router was due to be repaired/replaced. Something to drink (juice etc.) or more milk in the fridge would have been nice.

Housekeeper texted in morning asking when we were leaving and then an hour before checkout time when we were finishing breakfast, we heard her trying to put her key in our door to let herself into apartment using her own key. Luckily we had left our key in the lock so she had to knock on the door instead. Very cramped kitchen with only 3 seats for 4 people booked
