I have used Booking.com for over 10 yrs and stayed in mostly hotels, but this is one of the BEST properties I have stayed at. This house is one of four units in a 4 level house/building. It takes up the whole floor and is about 1,800 sq feet (my guess). It is huge and has EVERYTHING for such a cheap price (72 euros/day). 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one in master bedroom), she put a crib in the master bedroom in case you have a baby, a tv room, a dining room for a huge family dinner, full kitchen, and laundry room. This place was awesome. Wifi worked great.
You need a car. It is not close to any public transportation or even stores. So, before you arrive, make sure you go to the grocery store and stock up.
It has a nice view of the water in the distance. It is in a rural area between Pontevedra and Vigo, about 20-30 min drive from each city.
It’s very close (10-15 mins by car) to beautiful local beaches like Playa Bueu, Pontevedra.
The owner is really nice and met us at the property. There is parking in a garage or right on the street in front of the house.
It was summer when we went so the heaters weren’t working, but she gave us a plug in heater/radiator type and it got super warm and cozy at night. It rains a lot in the northwest of Spain so it’s chillier there than Madrid and the south of Spain.
There is no elevator. You will need to walk up to the second floor by stairs. Wasn’t a problem
