Relaxing chalet in the woods

Amazing accommodation, very cozy, nicely decorated and well-equipped. The views of the forest are so relaxing as well as the sauna. There is all you need in the kitchen,including an oven, microwave, utensils and spices. You need a car to drive around, but it is only 5 minutes from the Akaslompolo supermarket and lake. Highly recommended, it's better in reality.

Beautiful apartment in the middle of nature

The appartment is super beautiful and located in the middle of nature with a great view to the forest and mount Ylläs. In the morning, the sun shines right into the living room and you can watch the crystal clear air sparking in the light. At afternoon, sun is still on the large terrace. It is very modern, nicely and warmly decorated and has a lot of equipment! For example, for cooking you already have spices, salt, sugar and cling film/plastic wrap. Definitely try the sauna.

If you plan to visit Äkäslompolo each day, you should come by car. The sleds are a nice help, but it still takes 20-25 minutes (each way) into the village center. A water cooker would be a nice adding to the flat :) Some instructions were a little bit hard to understand, but the landlords were always helpful in figuring it out for us. We were not able to get the fireplace to work, I think it had too much air inflow - so if you plan to use it, maybe try putting the air inflow regulator not to "maximum".

Superb

Very nice cabin/apartment (one house split into two apartments with own front doors). New and fresh with your own sauna, dishwasher and washing machine. Nice and quiet area among other new houses. Perfect for two people.

You need to have your own car as the cabin is >2 km from the Äkäslompolo center and main road. You need your own car to reach the slopes. Crosscountry skiing route 400-600m away. No carbattery charging possibility.

Beautiful, peaceful, modern place to stay

Villa LumiHelmi A is a very nice place for those who love to stay close to nature and who appreciate silence. The views are to the forest and to Ylläs fjeld. There are not many neighbors but the hosts live just around the corner. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The accommodation is equipped with all necessary household items. It was delightful to see that the tableware is Finnish design. We travelled with two kids and the upper floor including a toilet was perfect for them.

The only thing that could be improved is to have real blinding curtains in the upper floor bedroom. Now there are only light blinds in the window and the morning light shines in.

Matched our needs and was beyond our expectations.

Easy communication with the owners before and during the stay, short car drive to the skiing resort; the property has been so well-kept for 2½ years that we could have been the first visitors; kitchen well equipped; spacious bathroom, nice patio, detailed instructions; good tips about the acitivites etc.

Good place to stay

Very tidy, new modern appliances and good kitchen ware. Good patio to hang out when no mosquitoes.

Nothing that I did not like as such. Some things would have done differently though, for example drying closet would be good to add. Also furnishing is somewhat white / blonde which is rather delicate to live in.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und es fehlt an nichts. Der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer war jeden Morgen fantastisch. Die Sauna im Haus war toll!

Perfekte Lage und tolle Unterkunft zum entspannen!

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist absolut fantastisch. Sehr ruhig und dennoch ziemlich zentral (Auto wird aber empfohlen). Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist sehr komfortabel und neuwertig/modern. Die große Terrasse/Balkon ist direkt vorm Wald, top Aussicht.

Nicht falsch verstehen, es gibt eigentlich nichts zu bemängeln! Aber für den Winter wäre es von Vorteil, einen Trockener(-Schrank) für die Klamotten zu installieren.

Träningssemester i Ylläs

Boende var på perfekt läge, låg ca 2km från starten till Nuts trail run. Stugan var fräsch & allt vad man behövde fanns i den. Stugan var lämplig för 2 personer.

Mesta infon om vad som ingick eller inte kom först efter att man betalt hela vistelsen. Med tanke på att stugan var så pass dyr som den var så var det lite snålt med att endast 2st wc pappersrullar, 1st hushållspappersrulle, ingick för 2 personer på 5dygn. Å infon om att lakan & handdukar inte ingick kom också först efter betalningen. All väsentlig info om vad som ingår eller inte skulle gärna få komma genast man bokar. Även att stugan är uppdelad i 2 delar & bilderna över stugan är aningen missvisande. Det fanns bilder från båda lägenheterna men det framkom först efter att betalningen dragits att stugan har 2 lägenheter & att vår del endast var 44m2. Vi hade gärna haft all info direkt vid bokningsskedet. Men 44m2 räckte bra för 2 personer men kanske inte för fler än 2 personer.
