One of my favorite stays in Sardinia! Absolutely stunning apartment, full of natural light & thoughtful amenities. Very spacious and open, beautiful views.

Apartment was perfect!

- The location is great (close enough to walk to the city center but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet) *** What might be an issue for some people is that to reach the apartment from the city center or train station, you need to walk up a steep hill, and there is no elevator up to the top floor, so keep this in mind if you have mobility impairments or heavy luggage. - The view from the top floor is exceptional. - Overall, the apartment was very cozy, the neighborhood is quiet and felt completely safe.

Poor communication and possibly overcharged city tax - Communicating with the co-host (the owner’s daughter) felt like a chore. Messages went unanswered, making us feel like an inconvenience. For example, when the AC broke at check-in, her father came and fixed it quickly (he was very friendly!), but she never followed up to confirm if it was working or acknowledge the issue. - Zero Check-out Instructions: We received no check-out instructions. I messaged her the night before asking where to leave the key card, but received no response - not even after we departed Sardinia altogether. I still have no idea if we checked out correctly due to no communication from her side. - Overcharged Tourist Tax: We were instructed to pay "€3 per person per day" (€48 total for 2 people). However, later I found out that Cagliari’s tourist tax is charged per night and capped at a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. We should have paid €30 total (€15 per person), meaning we were possibly overcharged by €18 due to incorrect host instructions. Lack of transparency about the bathroom situation - While we now understand that historic neighborhoods in Cagliari often have older plumbing systems requiring toilet paper to be binned rather than flushed, this rule was not mentioned anywhere in the listing. Because this can be a significant culture shock for many tourists, it should be clearly disclosed upfront so guests know what to expect before booking.

Very friendly host. Despite some issues with the apartment, she stayed kind and resolved everything. The view is simply breathtaking, overlooking both the old town and the sea. Keep in mind it’s a studio apartment, so not very spacious, but it is clean and has everything you need, including strong air conditioning.

It’s close to the city centre, but the walk is a steep uphill climb (great for your calves!)
