The Space:
The Hideaway offers a relaxed holiday environment in a very special location. Backing on to bush reserve, directly behind Nelsons Beach, you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of the ocean in a private bushland setting. The large entertaining deck overlooks the reserve and established gardens, and features a BBQ and comfortable day beds and couches.

Getting Around:
Getting around is easy with little traffic most of the year, great bike paths and pleasant walks everywhere. Public transport is limited, however there are quite a few taxis.

Please ensure that bookings in summer holiday season don't leave a gap of less than 4 nights at the beginning or end of your stay otherwise we may have to cancel or move your booking dates. Please call us if you need to discuss.
Please ignore the "Nightly Rate". Jervis Bay Rentals rates are calculated as a high fixed amount ("Property fees") followed by a much lower nightly rate. This allows you to add extra nights to your stay without adding too much to the total tariff (the longer you stay, the lower the average nightly rate). Unfortunately Airbnb doesn't compensate for the fixed amount in their calculation of the nightly rate. We apologise for this, and hope it will be corrected soon.

Outside of peak periods, early arrivals and late departures will be offered where possible.
> Parties, Functions And Gatherings
This property is surrounded by permanent residents and is located in a quiet part of town. Guests that don't respect the neighbours will be evicted forfeiting their full tariff and bond. If you are planning a party, please look elsewhere as we have a zero tolerance policy.
> What Is Included?
Jervis Bay Rentals provide linen all year round. This includes sheets, pillow cases, donnas and blankets, bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, face washers and bath mats. We will have the beds made for you when you arrive.
The kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils you are likely to need. There is surface cleaner, detergent, dishwashing tablets and dish cloths available as well as cleaning equipment for the BBQ. We also supply items like Gladwrap, foil, paper towels and tea towels. The pantry has all the basics (and often more!) including olive oil, salt and pepper, tea bags, coffee and sugar.
Bathrooms have (as a minimum) shower gel, hand wash, tissues and toilet paper.
There is laundry detergent supplied for the washing machine.
Cots and highchairs are available at no extra cost. Unfortunately the property doesn't have enough linen and towels for infants. Please bring your own if required.

Lots of timber & slate tiles with upstairs & downstairs areas. Huge deck overlooking nature reserve & close to walking track & beaches. Bus to station close by. Handy for family member who had to go home early as internet did not work & uni assignments due on weekend tho agent did offer tech solution Monday. A great place for birdwatchers & walking but don't rely on internet being available.

The property really did contain all we needed for a great getaway. The kitchen and BBQ were very well appointed, lots of plates, pots, pans (+ pod machine) way more than 6 people needed and the pantry had a good selection of bits and pieces to make life easier for us :-)
The location for us was perfect, nice walking trail that leads to a beach just behind the house, and the deck (with retractable awning) was a great place to chill out morning or evening.

A beautiful home with everything you would need for a perfect holiday. We had breakfast and lunch on the deck in the warm sun. A family of kookaburras joined us each day. Quiet and private but close to beach and a variety of shops and restaurants.

This property has the best location but it’s a bit tired. It needs a little love for the price we thought it could be a bit cleaner and it seemed the kitchen utensils were all old and hand me downs .
