Friendly and helpful staff, nice and chill place, clean, good value for money.

You’ll find no complaining here. It would be nice with our own kettle, however they did not have any issues with providing boiling water. Therefore this is not a complaint.

I had a really pleasant stay at Gold Inn and would happily recommend it to others visiting the area. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, which made it very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was another highlight — freshly prepared and very tasty, a perfect way to start the day. The location is also great if you’re planning to eat out, as it’s close to Green Gram Table, which serves really good food and is definitely worth a visit.

The only downside is that it’s quite a walk from Dambulla town and the Rock Temple, so you may need transport if you don’t want to walk in the heat.

This place is a beautiful property, quiet and very close to everything you would need to see in Dambulla and Sigiriya. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, we checked in when we wanted and they even arranged cars/tuk tuks/excursions for us that were better than viator. Breakfast was great. Please support this place!

Rooms are minimal but it makes sense with the price you pay!
