the location is absolutely amazing if you’re looking for a quiet holiday. close to the beach, with seven swimming pools on site if you chose the non-beach life. the fact that most holiday makers are Portuguese means it’s quiet and children are polite and well behaved. none of the screams of usual Dutch and British resorts

the only complaint is that we could not use the safe.

We stayed at the apartment for 10days.The apartment has an excellent location. Only 3 minutes to the nearest shop, 3 minutes to the pools and 10minutes to the beach. The apartment is very clean. The host agreed to send a cleaning service on the day five which was very nice. The apartment's kitchen is well equipped so you can prepare food you like. The host kindly supplied us with a baby cot and a highchair. They also agreed for late check-in.

We had to call the host to prepay the internet as it was inactive when we arrived. Not a big issue though. Would be nice to have more access cards as you need them to open gates to the Salgados estate.

We loved the location, the complex, the apartment, and of course the weather. Place was clean and well suites and equipped for a family stay.

The communication about check in was unclear. We called, were supposed to be met by someone by the door but instead found a lock with the key inside. Few phone call later, that got sorted, along with the complex’s entry pass and internet. It seems that not much attention was paid to the small details of getting ready for next guests after the previous have left. There were some clothes left in cupboard, throw pillows have not been changed to clean covers and such. Not a huge deal but devil is in the detail. We had a safe but could not used it which means we always had to carry our passports with us as the apartment windows were not 100% secure.
