B & B San Giovanni 9

Stanza accogliente e pulita , situata a Gallipoli vecchia, per noi il top, dotata di aria condizionata e con la possibilità di uno spazio fuori con sedie e sdrai. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo

Reasonable sized bedroom and everything was very clean. I warned the host I’d be there in 10 minutes and he was waiting at the door for me. He was very nice, gave me the key, breakfast voucher for coffee and cornetto, wifi and rushed off. I did ask where to eat and I did have a nice lunch at cafe dei amici (?) as recommended. The location was quite good and was reasonable value at the price I paid. I was able to keep my bicycle in my room on the ground floor.

I had wanted to ask the host another question - closest beach to swim at, and sadly didn’t find it until too late, so pre-think what you want to know as the host seems nice. The wifi was terrible in the windowless room but it was bad in most places in the historical area of Gallipoli. Also I found the only temperature that the aircon only consistently worked at was 23°C but there needs to be a better blanket for the bed at this temperature.

Imposible aparcar, estuvimos una hora dando vueltas y finalmente tuvimos que aparcar en el parking del puerto teniendo que pagar el día completo porque ya era muy tarde y fue carísimo!! 25 euros y a 2O minutos caminando Consideramos que las explicaciones para encontrar parking fueron insuficientes y fue muy, muy estresante.
