UNIT #4 Crystal Shores Irresistible Ocean Front End Unit

We had such a good time we lost track

This is my second summer at one of these units, this time I got the end unit and it was as amazing as the number three unit I had last summer. The cottage is immaculate, kitchen as well stocked, and the view from the bedroom window is absolutely amazing. The location you get for the money is sensational.

This is a great little place for a couple to spend a few nights enjoying Kure Beach and the surrounding area. Our favorite thing was the convenience to the beach - being just steps away! We also really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the little porch overlooking the ocean. We will be back soon!

We are repeat customers due to the proximity to the beach and the peace and quiet in the off season. This was an anniversary celebration and we were looking forward to having the beach all to ourselves. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Upon arrival we found about 6 bulldozers and a giant pipeline blocking access to the beach. Every morning at 7am we woke up to the sounds of heavy machinery dredging the beach. The one time I went on the beach I had to climb over a large pipe only to not be able to set out a towel and relax due to men driving the equipment all around me I totally love this unit being so accessible to the beach, usually romantic and serene but not this time. If I had known that this dredging was happening I would have not booked at this time, but the listing gave no indication that the beach was unusable. We did go down to Fisher Island which was better but still it was quite a disappointment for our romantic trip. Other than that, the unit is perfect, clean, but limited supplies (no toilet paper or paper towels). Towels are minuscule and we had one thin blanket on a night that got in the 30’s. We will probably be back but when the beach is clear of noisy machinery.
