We feel extremely lucky to have spent our 10-day Guadeloupe vacation at Infiniti Blue in Boulliante, Basse Terre. The magnificent site offers a stunning view of the sea and the winding roads below. The furnishings, plantings, walkways etc. have been selected with great care and attention to detail. And they are beautifully maintained. We stayed in a separate bungalow, "Case Colibri" (hummingbird) that, albeit close to the pool and bar, offered complete privacy. It comprised, in addition to a comfortable bedroom (with air conditioning and fan) and bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette for breakfast and simple meals, as well as a large covered veranda surrounded by flowering bushes which encourage encounters with the afore-mentioned hummingbirds, little iguanas, and occasional visits from the owners' friendly dog, Ruby, and cat, Ziggy. The charm of the place itself is matched by the congenial and helpful personalities of the owners, Sam and Pascale. They are quiet and discrete but always ready to answer a question or offer a suggestion in either English or French. Their daughter, Jade, and her friend, Mint, run a small bar/restaurant on the premises which serves up delicious Thai-accented meals if you order a bit in advance. You eat overlooking the pool and the sea by yourselves, or perhaps with one other couple at a nearby table. It's magical.

Déjà le cadre est magnifique, avec cette vue sur la mer de la piscine. Le jacuzzi le soir permet de se détendre des marches de la journée. Mais surtout Sam, Pascale et leur fille Jade qui s'occupent du gîte sont aux petits soins. Leur gentillesse, leurs attentions et ces moments de dialogue et partages nous ont particulièrement touchés. Das Appartment liegt in einer mit viel Hingabe gepflegten und sauberen Anlage in den Grünen Hügeln von Bouillante. Die Aussicht auf das Meer von der privaten, in Holz erstellten Terasse ist traumhaft und unverbaut. Direkt unterhalb der Terasse blühen farbenfrohe Blumen und Büsche, welche regelmässig von Colibris besucht werden. Durch die gut ausgestattete Küche ist man unabhängig und kann sich auch nach Lust und Laune eigene Mahlzeiten zubereiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Umgebung genügend vorhanden. Klimaanlage im Schafzimmer und freies WLAN auf der Anlage sind inbegriffen. An der täglich geöffneten Bar direkt beim Pool sind Drinks und auf Bestellung frische, hausgemachte Sandwiches und Mahlzeiten zu erhältlich. Diverse Frühstückvarianten werden ebenso angeboten. Ein Abendessen am Pool... traumhaft. In der Umgebung finden sich unzählige Möglichkeiten den Tag zu verbringen: Wassersport, Wanderungen im Nationalpark, Stand, Wasserfälle, Kultur, alles wird geboten. Die Vermieter-Familie ist jederzeit hilfsbereit, herzlich und immer für das Wohlergehen der Gäste besorgt. Die Woche im Infiniti Blue war die letze Woche unserer Guadeloupe Reise, aber ganz klar die Beste! Thanks to Sam and Pascale for this gorgeous week and all the best!
