About this apartment rental
This is a beautifully upgraded 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, ski-in, ski-out condo at Sunstone Lodge with terrific views over Mammoth Lakes. This well-appointed vacation rental features a flat screen TV in the living room with a cozy gas fireplace, luxury furnishings, custom built-ins and custom paint throughout. The dining area comes equipped with a custom wood dining table with seating for 4 and a kitchen fully equipped with all the amenities. There are spectacular views of the Sherwin Mountains and the town of Mammoth from the outdoor deck too! The master bedroom features a comfortable King bed with TV and DVD player and stereo. There is even extra sleeping room on the sleeper sofa in the living room. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This Mammoth condo sleeps a maximum of 4 people and comes with underground, heated garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 8' 2"). Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This unit comes with building wide wireless internet, we cannot guarantee speed or accessibility. There are no stairs to this unit, no stairs inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The ease and convenience of ski in/ski out is hard to beat. The room was inviting and comfortable. We had challenges getting the television to work in the living room (and we never tried the tv in the bedroom), and we thought the kitchen was missing some items and supplies that would have been helpful (like oil, spices, foil, plastic wrap, or Tupper ware for leftovers). We enjoyed the hot tub and took full advantage of the slopeside ski locker. We left behind a personal item (a bluetooth speaker) that was never recovered, so that was disappointing. Overall, our stay was really great. We look forward to any opportunity to return!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. It was clean and quiet. We enjoyed the kitchen and the homey feeling of our condo. I especially loved the balcony. I sat there every morning with a cup of coffee to enjoy the view. Because we checked in late, we did not interact with front desk staff, but he directions for obtaining the key card were good. I would suggest making the sign more visible to help visitors find it at night. I highly recommend this property for Mammoth visitors!

Was an average condo. I've stayed at over 5 different units in this complex managed by mammoth itself and various other private entities. This was on the lower end in terms of cleanliness. Most units are dated in decor, so that's a given, but this one had crumbs on the counter, a dirty rag in the bathroom trash, cheaper quality bath towels and sheets, but it was also cheaper in price, so you get what you pay for. As long as you understand there's a trade-off, you'll be satisfied. The management company seems staffed by younger people who don't have much interest in hospitality or customer services, but they do answer the phone and emails. The location of this unit can't be beat.
