Incredible views in your summer house

The property is very nice. The views are excellent, but it should be pointed out that the beach, which is lovely, is a long way below the property, so a heck of a climb back up if walking.It took us a long time to find the property, as it's set back from the nearby roads. The property is overlooked by other apartments and a group of 7 French people arrived and stayed in the nearest apartment to us. They were a bit noisy at first, and "took-over" the pool at times.When we arrived there was a man painting the front door and he seemed surprised to see us. It's just as well he was there though, as he provided some much needed advice, like where we could park and where we should take our rubbish, as there was no information pack, so no information on what to do in an emergency for instance. There were a number of internal doors missing on the ground floor. There was no kettle that we could find; the maintenance man kindly lent us one. We got no hot water out of the 1st floor shower or sinks and we didn't get the 1st floor air con to work. There were two sets of bunk beds in one of the ground floor bedrooms, but the top bunks didn't have a safety rail, as can be seen from the photographs.So, there were some short-comings in my opinion, but it is a very nice property.

We stayed here for a week in August. It's a lovely complex with beautifully kept gardens and pool. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures and really never busy. Deep enough to do some diving and always kept very clean. The accommodation is over two floors and includes both the terrace and the balcony you can see in the pictures. We hadn't really appreciated this before we went so it was a nice surprise. The views from the property are across the sea and the beach is a five minute walk. It is a beautiful beach never too crowded with a couple of beach bars to choose from. The supermarket is just over the road in the Beach Playa Club complex. This is a great spot to explore the island from - but if you are looking for nightlife then Son Parc is probably not for you. There are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance but they are not great. My husband and son played a round of golf at the adjacent golf course and also went to the driving range. The staff at the golf club were very friendly and welcoming. We have been to Menorca a few times before and love getting to know this island. We have teenage children (16 and 19) and this apartment worked well for us. The two bedrooms on the ground floor stay much cooler. There is plenty of storage space. The kitchen is pretty standard for what you get with these type of apartments but all perfectly clean and loads of crockery/dishes etc. The only thing it didn't have was a kettle! Maria was very easy to contact and deal with and there is a housekeeper who is contactable should you need him. They were very accommodating in allowing us earlier access to the property as it was vacant.

If you are looking for a relaxing time with a quiet atmosphere in the evenings this is the place for you. Maria's apartment is amazing; comfy beds, great showers, huge balcony with lovely sea view very well equipped kitchen and great pool. We couldn't fault it and had a lovely ten days. I would recommend a car for a few days - market on Mahon, other beaches around the island and a trip in the evening to Fornells for great food. The beach is a five min walk from front door to subbed with an amazing restaurant at one end. It's the kind of beach where it's still busy near sunset - very busy (as with most Menorcan beaches in August) but really relaxing. I would definitely book again Thank you Maria!
