*IN-TOWN -WALK TO EVERYTHING!!* ***This is a cozy, adorable historical home in a great location.***LOCATION**:You can WALK TO EVERYTHING !!!! Walk to: the Ferry, Vineyard Haven Harbor/Marina ,Quaint Main Street, grocery stores, galleries, restaurants, shops, Owen Beach Park, mini golf, playground, live theater, library, baseball field, playgrounds.Owen Park Beach is a short walk away (0.5 of a mile!) with views there of the ferries coming and going.Located close to the bike path.Mink Meadows Golf Course is less than 2 miles away.Kayaks and boats can be rented at a nearby marina. Gym and spa services are available two blocks from the house. The famous Black Dog Restaurant is located right off the ferry dock. Public transportation is easily accessible. **THE FIRST FLOOR** has an eat -in kitchen with table and eat-in bar, a dining room, living room with flat-screen TV, full bathroom and one bedroom with a twin bedroom with A/C. Hardwood floors throughout the home. **THE 2ND FLOOR***: has 3 bedrooms ( two bedrooms with double beds & a Queen master bedroom with flat-screen TV and A/C. There are (3) A/C window units & window fans . *** BACK DECK / FRONT PORCH/ OUTSIDE** The back door (from kitchen) opens to an adorable deck with white lantern lights for fabulous relaxing evenings. The deck has a dining table, built-in bench seating, adirondack chairs and a Weber gas grill . BRAND NEW HOT WATER PRIVATE ENCLOSED OUTDOOR SHOWER!!!There is a large grassy yard and parking is available in the driveway. Relax on the front porch with two rocking chairs and a bench. NOTE: this is an older historical home : the staircase to the 2nd floor is steeper and narrower than homes built today-- that is how they were built back then. There is a hand rail on each side and non-slip tread on all stairs. Summer activities on the Vineyard include weekly farmers markets and craft shows, visits to antique shops and art galleries, nature walks and miles of beaches.

Great location, we love walking to town. The host is responsive to questions or issues. We enjoyed the house and the deck. This was our second time staying at this location.

The property was very nice and comfortable. Felt like a home that you were borrowing from friends not some of the sanitized rentals you can get. Great location very close to the downtown of Vineyard Haven. Rooms were good size and everyone fit without issue. Would absolutely stay again.

HI Travelers, If location is the top priority then the this is the house for you in Vineyard Haven. A quick walk to everything you need, even a great cup of coffee at Cumberland farms at 4am is crucial. The issue is the stairs going to the upstairs bedrooms are very steep and very small treads, meaning when you get up in the middle of the night you need to be extra careful ! Overall stay was average from a house amenities, a significant amount of the owners personal goods are visible. The parking with three vehicle's are okay, need to do some moving the cars in order to facilitate leaving times, and be careful not to trip on a cement cover in the middle of the night along the driveway as there isn't significant lighting.
