In short, it is nice, comfortable and Geovanna is ready if you need anything.

The overall experience at Slow Room was comfortable and pleasing. Geovanna is extremely helpful and she quickly responds to your needs. I loved the cleanliness and comfort depending on the room you are staying in. I was very lucky because my stay there was during a low season, the facility wasn’t fully booked, so maximum comfort and privacy.

Something I noticed and worth mentioning is that the complaints I heard from people staying there at the same time as me were mostly from people who booked quickly without reading enough about the property. They came in with their own expectations and didn’t really know enough about the space they booked, and I found that interesting. Everything described about the property is 100% true. The complaints are about not doing enough research before booking, not really about the property. The outside noise can be a little too much, so make sure you wear something during sleep. Another last thing, the outside of the property isn’t really appealing, so just you know, the inside is perfectly as described.

This fabulous Airbnb is exceptional! Squeaky clean 🧼, very comfortable beds, good sized rooms, great hot showers ( 2 bathrooms), external heavy roller blinds to completely darken your room for a good night sleep, modern furniture, a surprisingly quiet neighbourhood, a small fridge in the room, air con, a very well equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave, Lungo coffee machine, Kettle, stove etc. & a lovely roof terrace, secure locks 🔐 on each room. My room on the first floor had a cute little balcony too. Several bus stops just a minute away gets you into town and back day & night. You can also rent a bicycle 🚲 directly from the Airbnb !! Lidl & other supermarkets, shops, restaurants, little eateries are just around the corner! I liked that the host put up a note at the entrance door, stating to be quiet & respectful towards other guests 🙏 Geovanna is super friendly, very nice, ever so helpful and responds within minutes to any questions one might have. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of 8 days, and will be back for sure.. 🌸 ☺️

Perfect stay in a quiet Valencia neighborhood

Location was ideal for our purpose. Beautiful old apartment which was recently renovated. It was such a joy to be welcomed by the host and her mother!

Quite a challenge if you have a lot of luggage, as you'll have to carry them up a flight of narrow stairs.

Geovana & her mother work tirelessly to keep the guesthouse exceptionally clean, super friendly as well. The bed was comfortable, straightforward check-in, Lidl & other supermarkets are minutes away, peaceful sleep with air con 😴 rooftop terrace was a great addition 👍🏻

The only downside was the location especially in 35*C heat 🥵 I knew it before booking but used uber half the time to save the legs …. It’s a 25 min walk minimum to anywhere of interest …

Exceptional hospitality and a lovely stay!

My favorite part about this accommodation was Geovanna and her mother :) They were cleaning every day and always took the time to chat with us a little—so kind, warm, and genuinely caring. You can really tell they put their heart into making sure guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. We had a small issue with the AC, and Geovanna responded immediately to help us fix it. We also asked for an iron, and they provided it right away. Everything we needed, they took care of quickly and with a smile. A big plus: Geovanna speaks English very well, which really helped us during our stay, especially since that’s not always the case when traveling in Spain. Highly recommend—thank you for everything! ❤️

Comfort stay and great value for money

The place was very nice, the bathroom and kitchen felt new, the balcony was very sweet and the room was super comfortable with an amazing bed and very cute overall. The host was also super nice and received us super well.

It is a little bit far to the main areas but very well-connected by bus and metro with supermarkets nearby. It is within a relatively short walk to the historic center, me and my boyfriend would reach it in around 20 minutes.

Excellent stay

Loved staying at this property. The room was comfortable and the facilities were excellent - black out blinds, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, washing machine and lovely rooftop area. The shared bathrooms were never an issue as they were kept very clean and guests were respectful of each other. I liked the location despite it not being in the centre of town. There’s a large supermarket and small grocers nearby, and the bus stop is very close. It is only a short ride into the old town. The property also felt very safe.

It`s very clean, everything is new and comfortable. We receive excellent attention of Irlanda, the owner who was always there to solve any problem.

Perhaps a heating device in winter time could be a good idea because sometimes the room gets a little cold.

Clean and affordable

Location for me was far away from places if interest and I felt uncomfortable walking alone in the area at night. The place was very clean and tidy. Suggest an eye cover for sleep as curtain was sheer and there was a very bright light outside. Great place for cooking meals every thing you need is there. Would have liked coffee for machine.

Irlanda is the best host you could wish for. The structure is nice and clean with spacious room. There is a nice shared kitchen. The terrace is also very nice. The structure is general spot clean. I didn't have such a good experience in a long time. The location also is fine, with 10 mins by bike you are in the city center (20/25 by bus). 100% recommended!

Splendid

Everything was great. The roof terrace is too hot in the first half of the day but is a fantastic place to sit and chill out towards the evening. My room had a private terrace with a chair - adding a small table there would really be worth it.

The airconditioning didn't work but they gave me a pretty powerful standing fan instead. If you plan to stay during Summer and you really can't sleep in a warm room, maybe inform about the airco beforehand as you may not have a great stay otherwise. For me it wasn't an issue.

Great room with lovely hosts, perfect for workationing - not great for regular day trips by train

Nice and comfy room, with a desk and good WiFi which was great as I needed to work. You could of course be unlucky with other people, but people were respectful when I was there, and there was little noise Lovely terrasse on the roof Kitchen and bathrooms are fully cleaned everyday

Location is completely fine if you only wish to go to the center and there are many buses around. However, I do not recommend this place if you intend to do day trips and go to one of the train stations regularly. Or make sure you have plenty of time to go to the station: It's a 50mn walk, and buses aren't reliable enough. I missed an early train and lost quite a bit of money because the buses at that early time never showed up (used Google + local app), Uber found no one, and all cab drivers from a more widely used app in Valencia kept cancelling on me (probably not an interesting area for them to come...) Locks could use an upgrade, they were a bit capricious at times and I was always a bit afraid I'd end up stuck outside. To be noted that apart from the rooftop, there is no social area. Not a problem for me, but that could be to some.

There were 2 bathrooms and they were always clean. Mini fridge in the room was very good ans the bed was comfortable.

It would be nice to have a few cooking ingredients in the kitchen, like olive oil and seasonings.

This is a wonderful place to stay that is great value for money :) It has everything you would need for a nice stay, a comfortable bed, very clean kitchen and bathroom and also a nice balcony in the room and outdoor terrace on the roof. A great place to work remotely as there is a desk in the room also! The staff were very kind and helpful too.

Good option for a cost effective stay in Valencia.

Cost was reasonable compared to other properties in Valencia at the time of booking. The host was quick to reply to messages. Easy check in if you contact the host before hand. Whilst it is outside the centre of Valencia public transport is very good with many bus stops nearby and many bus routes available. (Single bus fare only 1.50Euro.) The kitchen has good facilities.

Not a criticism as I had no issues at all. The bathroom was clean but like all shared bathrooms you are dependent on fellow guests being considerate as you are with their levels of noise and general behaviour. You can hear other guests using the corridor at night but I feel this is obvious. The bunk bed had a step ladder which would have been difficlut to climb by persons with reduced mobility.
