Mountain Getaway - 6 miles to Ohiopyle!

Lovely place! Very clean! Very comfortable! Very cozy! Beds very nice! Kitchen had every little thing you could possibly need...whisk, spatula, measuring cups, toaster, coffee maker, great griddle and more! Lovely yard. Fire ring very nice each night! We brought our own wood but ran out..so glad we were able to purchase wood right on site at a very fair price! Our only surprise was how close we were to the well-traveled roadside -we had hoped we would be deeper into the woods - But, we deffinitely recommend this place! You will not be disappointed! Great location! Pet friendly! VERY close to so many wonderful places. All in all, a wonderful stay!!!

This cabin was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I grew up in the mountains, but started my family in Florida, so was excited to show them how fun it is to drive down windy roads, enjoy the cool weather, and sit by a campfire. My husband and I shared a room with our 3 year old in the room with the bunk beds and my mom stayed in the other bedroom. Comfortable beds and just enough space. All of the accommodations were provided (sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, plates, cups, etc), and we even broke into the game cabinet! Our favorite area was the fire pit, though- lots of room to run around and toast marshmallows! And we definitely appreciated the provided wood.The location was good- beautiful drive of about 15 minutes from ohiopyle. We didn’t have cell service, but internet messaging as suggested worked just fine.I would suggest going to a grocery store and getting gas before you come (we drove from Morgantown, WV and didn’t see really any places to stop on the way).Great stay and would definitely come back again!
