Our four-day stay at Frog Call Retreat in Dahlonega, Georgia was absolutely magical and made for the perfect second anniversary getaway — a trip we will remember forever. The 52-acre property is breathtaking, meticulously maintained, and full of charm, history, and natural beauty. We loved exploring every inch of the property, especially the treehouse, bunkhouse, scenic trails, and stunning lake area. Feeding the trout every morning with coffee and every evening with local wine became one of our favorite memories. The cabin itself was extraordinary — exactly what you imagine when you think of the perfect mountain cabin, but elevated with spacious living areas, a beautiful porch, and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bathroom was unforgettable, with a clawfoot tub and glass shower overlooking nature. Truly one of the most unique and relaxing experiences we’ve ever had. Another wonderful aspect of Frog Call is how secluded it feels while still being just minutes from downtown Dahlonega. We loved exploring the vibrant historic downtown, visiting Consolidated Gold Mine and Crisson Gold Mine, and enjoying several dog-friendly wineries nearby. Our corgi, Tucker, absolutely loved the property too, and we were so thankful to bring him along. A special thank you to Jimmie for her incredible hospitality, thoughtful communication, and flexibility when we needed to reschedule our trip due to a work conflict. We would absolutely recommend Frog Call Retreat and cannot wait to return.

This was exactly what my husband and I needed. A peaceful week in total seclusion. The cabin is fantastic! We didn’t need a thing other than groceries. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary appliances. The den had a large screen TV, a huge screened in back porch where we could relax and listen to the Corinthian Bell wind chimes and reflect on our happiness. But my favorite room was the master bathroom .. it was glass from ceiling to floor, open blinds, large shower and a claw-footed tub. The best feature? Heated tile floors . We rode the golf cart all over the preserve to find many treasures..a bunk house and a tree house with a queen sized bed! Also on the property is a large stocked trout pond which our fur babies enjoyed swimming daily as we were trying to fish. We absolutely fell in love with Frog Call! I recommend it highly and dealing with the owners was easy and just a text or phone call away.
