Central Florida Location 1 1/2 hours to Orlando, Tampa, Daytona, St. Augustine

We stayed for 5 months during the winter of 24-25. The rental is just outside of a small, friendly town. The rental has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a den with a large desk and a futon. It sits behind the owner's house and has a large backyard with a covered patio, outdoor table and chairs. There are lots of trees. There's a sidewalk that takes you out into the countryside. The owners, Kathy and Glenn, were always very available and helpful. There are many beautiful hiking trails within a 15 minute drive. Ten miles south of the rental is Aldis, Walmart, Skechers, TJ Max, Burlington and more. A mile away is Publix food market and Phoenix gym where we attended Silver Sneakers classes in the morning and worked out on the equipment in the afternoon. It was an excellent winter stay. This rental was perfect for us, located on 5 acres with only the landlord's home visible. However, it was only 1/2 mile to a major highway, very close access to Ocala and The Villages. The kitchen was well furnished with great tableware and flatware, along with necessary cookware and accessories. There is an enclosed dog yard with a doggie door for those with pets. The home is spacious with nearly 1600 square feet. We enjoyed the layout very much. You can enjoy birds, squirrels, and the occasional lizard on the property. We would have rented for next year, but it was already booked! The washer stopped working while we were there, and the owners took action immediately, and had it replaced before we needed it again. Thanks for a great stay!

I loved the location, the spaciousness inside and out, the sound of trains a few miles away. It’s located between The Villages and Ocala for extended shopping or activities, but there are several chain and local restaurants nearby, plus pharmacies, 2 grocery stores, golf courses, and more. Kathy and Glenn were welcoming and available if needed during my five-week stay.

Kathy and Glenn were so easy to work with. If we had a question, they were right there to answer. We enjoyed the privacy of location but the closeness of town. House was very comfortable. and easygoing. Hope to stay again
