About this house rental

Work or homeschool at the beach. Grandma's House is 2 Bedrooms, including a queen in one room and a queen and twin in the other. We just installed a 2-3 person hot tub with a privacy fence. The large yard is fenced in and friendly for kids and pets. There is a firepit with wood provided. The roomy bright kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. There is a washer and dryer and a full bathroom. The house is centrally located a short drive to the beach and the docks. Smart TV with Roku and Wi-fi are included. We have provided bikes, an umbrella stroller, kites, toys, including sand toys and games for the kids as well as books and movies.

Husband and son went fishing and I watched the dogs and ejoyed the beach. House is well stocked and the yard is huge for the dogs. Hot tub was nice as the guys were sore and whooped after fishing. It's pretty much centrally located. Not far from anything. We stayed 7 nights cooked some of our fish and ate out a few nights. Beds were comfortable. Honestly it's just nice to able to take your dogs and not have to worry about them being dogs. They only ask that you be a responsible pet owner and that's completely reasonable. We would stay there again.

Came to explore the area for 4 nights. Found the beds very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and close to things. Took some walks and drives on the beach. Enjoyed the seafood . I would stay at this house again if we come back to the area.

The location of the property was very convenient to access beaches and shops and a quiet neighborhood. The house is feel like staying at Grandma's house. Nothing funcy, but you have everything you need. I brought 3 large dogs and they enjoyed at the fulled fence backyard. The neighbor's friendly dog came by the fence to say "Hi!!" It might sneak out from the fence if you have small dogs or escape artists, but mine was totally fine, and loved it.There was a hot tub in the backyard and was full fenceed, and so relaxing.The communication of the owner was very quick and friendly. Had a very nice time at Grandma’s house. The house the perfect place to spend a days away with our dogs. Even with the rainy weather, we were able to be snug inside. The house is stocked with pretty much everything we needed. Just purchased our groceries and we were good to go. Beds are computer and hot tub is very nice. Walkable to beach and lighthouse. Just a couple of notes: we noticed that some of the outlets were only 2-prong instead of 3 and because of all the rain (had some good storms come through) the end of the driveway is pretty much a lake. But, we considered it part of the adventure- lol. We would definitely recommend and would definitely revisit.

When we opened the door at Grandmas house we felt like we had returned to our childhood. The only thing missing was a pot of roast beef on the wood fired stove. We enjoyed our time. We came to relax and enjoy watching our two dogs run in the fenced yard. It rained and rained but we played games, did puzzles, and relaxed. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Grandma’s House is a perfect name for it. It felt like my grandma was just in the other room the whole time. We stayed here for our winter on the coast. We would go out to the beach or the wharf in the late mornings, have lunch, get cold and wet, stop at the grocery store on the way home, dinner, games and screens, and then a dip in the hot tub.It’s very much a snug home with its own personality; don’t expect plain, fashionable hotel accomodations. Perfect for our family.

This was a nice getaway. I loved the new touches since we were there last. The hot tub was very nice and we had a wonderful fire since the burn ban lifted. We always have a great time here. When you replace the mattresses next time, you should go a little softer. But that’s my personal preference. 😉 We will definitely be back again and again . I highly recommend.

We rented this property for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The owners and staff were very sweet and put up some Christmas decorations and lights for us, to make our trip a little more special for the holiday. The backyard was absolutely lovely and my service dog enjoyed it very much! We enjoyed the indoor fireplace and the hot tub as well! They have a large supply of firewood at your disposal which made my little country-girl heart so happy! This is a small home that reminded me very much of a similar one that our family lived in for five generations, so the kids and I enjoyed it! We will likely be back again sometime! Great response time from both the owners and their employees to help with anything we needed, even on the holiday! Do book this place if you're thinking about it. It's a cozy little home away from home!

On a whole this property is wonderful and relaxing. We did arrive after dark and got confused because only the neighbors number is on the fence by the driveway. Everything was as advertised. Great spot with a great fenced yard for our two little dogs. Hot tub was perfectly adequate. Nice little cabin away perfect location and property for my wife and I. We look forward to returning in the future.

This house is accurately represented! We had 3 kids and two dogs which means we really needed a place that was comfortable for us all to spend time! The kids and dogs loved the yard, being able to borrow chairs and sand toys was great as well because of course we forgot! The hot tub was a perfect end to a fun day exploring the beach! We will be back!

We’ve stayed here several times and have always enjoyed the place. The neighborhood is quiet and offers easy access to town and the beach. It has always been pet friendly and it just feels like a home away from home. The owner is extremely responsive and has added some new accents to the interior that were quite nice. Cute place. Could use some TLC. Beds were not good. Bathroom needs work. Toilet was very short. Not good if you have long legs. Could not get the CC to turn off on the TV. The Kitchen needed some help

The house is perfect for up to 4 people. It was great having a fenced yard. The hottub was awesome as well. The location is good...very close (about 5-6 minute drive) to beaches, restaurants, espresso stand and grocery store. Half Moon Bay is absolutely clean and a beautiful beach! The road the home is located (S Forrest) the cars go by very fast so be cautious if walking kids/dogs. Also the mosquitos (these tiny brown things called (No-see-ums) apparently called as they are so tiny they are difficult to see are vicious. I was bit over 30 times on a 45 minute walk. The next day I wore mosquito spray, but still managed to get bit a few more times. They go under loose clothing too. Overall Grandma's House and Westport was awesome. I just hated the mosquitos!
