About this bed and breakfast
Beautiful country setting 2 miles from scenic Highway 61, less than 30 min to Mpls/St. Paul, Mall of America, Treasure Island Casino, Canterbury Downs, Minnesota Zoo, and many other attractions. We are located just minutes from the St. Croix River, Mississippi River, and Afton Alps Ski Resort. This is a newly built private guest suite with a private entrance. It includes a full kitchen, full bathroom, laundry, a queen bed, and two twin beds. Plenty of parking.
Full kitchen with full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots/pans, cooking utensils, washer, and dryer. Full bathroom with towels supplied. Sheets, pillows, and blankets supplied. Guests are welcome to use the playground and park-like yard with trampoline, as well as enjoy fresh produce from our garden during the summer. WiFi, TV, Netflix, and PS3 are available for use. Only those listed on the reservation are allowed on the premises unless approved by the host.
Our home is allergen free - no pets (but you can enjoy our hobby farm animals), no smoking on the premises; no chemicals or toxic cleaning supplies used. Fair-trade coffee provided at no cost.

- Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am
- No smoking on the premises
- No pets
- Check in time is anytime after 3:00 pm unless prior approval. Check out time is 11:00 am

My daughter and I attended a family reunion in nearby Hastings over the August 3-4 weekend. Ms Betty met us as we arrived. She was awesome. Very welcoming and a reminder of why I am a fan of rural Minnesota. The suite was very clean and had everything we needed. The location (rolling hills, woods and farmland) was a nice getaway from the craziness of the big cities. We traveled to Hastings (5 miles) and Prescott WI (3 miles). The Twin Cities are within 25 miles. To sum it up it was a great stay and we'll definitely do it again.
