This cabin is minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge while still offering amazing mountain views. Huge master bedroom w/en suite, spa tub & private balcony. Main level has open concept great room w/stacked stone fireplace. Three levels of wrap-around porches w/hot tub. Finished terrace level w/large rec room, full bath, 2 guest rooms. Whether you're enjoying a meal on the spacious covered porch or lounging in the large luxury hot tub, Bear Tracks Lodge will soon become one of your favorite places to visit in the North Georgia Mountains! If wildlife excites you, make sure you pack the camera because there is quite a lot of it in this area.
From black bear, turkey, birds, and raccoons, there is no telling what you may catch a glimpse of. This home is conveniently located in historic Blue Ridge, where unique shopping and fabulous dining abound and only 25 minutes from Ellijay, home of the famous "Georgia Apple Festival".
The inside of this home is beautifully decorated with log cabin style furniture and was designed with comfort in mind. From the well equipped kitchen to the open great room, boasting with windows that bring the beauty of the outdoors inside, this home is sure to please. The stunning rock gas fireplace brings comfort on a chilly mountain evening. The King Master is located upstairs and is spacious and has it's own private covered deck, the perfect place to enjoy a good book or your first cup of morning coffee. It has it's own private bath with a jetted tub and a walk-in shower as well as double vanities so no one feels cramped for space. Downstairs is where the fun begins! There is parking at the cabin for up to 5 vehicles. You will definitely need a car around blue ridge. However, the road to Black Bear lodge is fully paved and 4 wheel drive is not required. GPS will also get you straight to the cabin.

Our family of 8 has been traveling to Blue Ridge every fall for the past decade, and this house was the best we've ever stayed in. Its proximity to both hiking trails and downtown can't be beat, its layout made for an easy sharing of space, it has everything to make out stay comfortable and fun, and though it's still a bit scary to drive up such steep roads for us southern Floridians, we appreciated that we never had to do it on gravel!

This property provided entertainment for adults as well as children. There are two living areas and the one downstairs has video games and a pool table. There are two decks, one with a hot tub and another with swings and a grill. There is a fire pit for entertainment at night. The beds were all very comfortable. One note on the bunkbed room – there is no door on this room so if children are sleeping in there and someone is out in the common area, it can get noisy for them. The property is very close to Blue Ridge so if you want to go into town it’s a pretty short drive. there was great communication with the owner about the questions that we had, which made it very easy for planning!

The cabin has an unbelievable view, very spacious!!! However, (and the things I am about to write has been addressed with VRBO and the OWNER) but neither party has done anything to address my concerns or offer a resolution. The property was not cleaned properly, the rugs (including the one in the kitchen & bathrooms) were dirty and not cleaned or vacuumed, they also had a lot of cat hair on them. There was not enough face cloths and/or towel to accommodate my guest.
Situation -
1. Cock Roaches - there is a serious infestation, they are coming out of the walls, in the kitchen, bathroom and lower living quarters. They are through out the cabin. I was unable to cook because they were crawling out of the cabinet, and on the counters, inside the dishwasher.
2. Dishes & Cooking Utensils - Pots & Pans were unuseable as they were dirty and unable to be cleaned, burned beyond useable.
Only one roll of paper towels for a 3 day stay. Toilet paper minimal
3. Firepit - Trash in the firepit, boxes, bottles & cans, debri (unable to use) and I had plan to use as a part of my event
4. Bedroom - Sheets & Linen spots on sheets and blankets. Not enough facecloths and towels for all guest which had hair on some of the towels.
5. Kitchen - Floor not clean or swept, Rugs throughout the home was dirty, with cat hair has not been vacuumed or swept
6. Hottub - The cover was full of water
