About this cottage rental
Cottage is small. Perfect for Family, max 5 adults 2 children or 4 adults 3 children.A totally renovated 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms and an outdoor shower. Brand new private wooden staircase to 50 feet of private beach. Outdoor seating area with a fire pit on top of the sea wall overlooking the Atlantic ocean. There is a brand new wood deck that follows the sea wall and holds a large table and umbrella with seating for 6. Also a natural gas grill for all of your grilling needs next to the outdoor shower. As you enter the 700 square foot 2 level cottage, there is a brand new high end kitchen with quartz countertops, Wolf dual fuel range, Subzero refrigerator and wine cooler, and Bosch dishwasher. The quartz island holds 3 stools and the table in the corner has seating for 4. The remainder of the downstairs living area has a 3 seat couch and a 48" flat screen Smart TV . Internet services provided.
There are ocean views on the first floor from the south side windows. A half bath and bedroom with 2 queen bunk beds, a twin pull out trundle bed and a washer and dryer that complete the first floor. Top Bunk perfect for children. As you climb the spiral staircase to the second floor loft/bedroom, there is a view of the Atlantic ocean from every window. This floor has a full bathroom with custom tile shower, rain shower head . The bedroom/loft has a queen bed with a large dresser.Every room in cottage provides high end paddle fan.
The street side of the yard has plush grass and new landscaping. The native pea gravel driveway with parking for 4 cars is lined with Belgian blocks. The entire property has been landscaped with native species including hydrangeas and peonies. There is natural rock stepping stones leading from the driveway to the main entrance of the house and also from the deck to the wooden staircase that leads down to the sandy beach.
All linens/ bed sheets/ towels /beach and bath provided.
This cottage is at the Watch Hill end of Westerly, far enough away from the traffic, but close enough to all of the amenities that Misquamicut Beach has to offer.

When your happy place is the ocean this cottage is perfect!
We have enjoyed our week for the past 4 years, cottage is so clean and comfortable. The owner is great to work with and we hope to continue our getaway yearly.

Pros. Very Well appointed All the necessary items you expect for a beach vacation
Great kitchen bathrooms outdoor shower solo fire pit etc
Cons. Very small if you’re over 6 ft upper bedroom may require lots of bending over
Great for a couple Mayb 1 child
Winding stairs up to master narrow cudnt accommodate large suitcase
Master could have used a king mattress to fit the platform bed kept banging shin on edge of platform
Very weak garbage disposal
Beach WiFi only up by the house and very poor cell service reception A WiFi extender would be great
At high tide there is no beach. The width of your beach is 50ft per website description
And that isn’t much
All in all very nice place but for a very limited amount of people

This is our third year staying at the beach cottage and we love it more every time! Just the absolute most beautiful setting and the house has absolutely everything you need. Thanks for another wonderful week!
