The property is quite well located. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The bathroom is very small especially the shower that only had a curtain and you had to be very careful not to get overspill onto the floor. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom toilet was downstairs which wasn`t the most convenient layout.

This was a fantastic little find. The host, Florence couldn’t have done anything more for us, excellent communication and we felt that we were chatting with a friend. It was good to have the use of the two bicycles, that are with the accommodation. The accommodation was perfect for the two of us. The addition of a washing machine was an added bonus as we had been travelling before staying here. We would 100% stay here again.

A perfect little house in a great location. Quite small all round, but all two people & a dog need for a short break. V easy to reach all of the D Day beaches & key sites. Bikes are available to use & it’s only a short cycle to the boulangerie in the morning. We had fantastic weather, so made good use of the outside space also. Florence met us on arrival & is a wonderful host. Would most definitely recommend 😎

Clean, well equipped, very friendly hostess, good communication (even with my rusty high school French). A bit small for more than two people. I don't remember seeing a "heating and cleaning" surcharge when I booked last year (now in the listing), but I was not charged the former and was given the option of doing my own cleaning (which I did). Very convenient to Sword and the other D-Day beaches.

Fantastic little apartment in a lovely quiet town within easy reach of all the major sites. Very well equipped and ideal for two. The courtyard is a real sun trap and we really enjoyed drinking a glass or 2 of wine whilst soaking up the sun! Florence was very welcoming and her communication was great too! Would definitely recommend! Thank you Florence! :)

We had a great stay in this small, but very nice decorated and well equipped house. There were plenty of kitchen tools and towels and we were pleasantly suprised by the welcome gift. Good location in the village with beach and bakery on walking distance. We highly recommend it!

Trop petit cuisine minuscule, la chambre petite à l'étage servait de salon avec 2 petits fauteuils en osier non confortables, une télé et le lit. Les WC dans une salle de bain miniscule et une douche très étroite. Je ne parle pas d'une petite cour alors que j'avais précisé que j'avais un, bet Australien. Je ne renouvellerai pas une experience Avec votre organisme.

Ligging was ideaal. Bakker, restaurantjes en strand op loopafstand. Vriendelijke gastvrouw die goed bereikbaar is. Rustig gelegen en het huisje heeft alle voorzieningen. Met onze hond heerlijk gewandeld over strand en in de omgeving. De badkamer was wat klein. Maar je went er snel aan. Prijs en kwaliteit ook zeer goed in verhouding.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans cette petite location, très bien équipée, bien que certains ustensiles de cuisine soient un peu vieillots (le grille-pain pas pratique notamment). Manque de rangements libres (nourriture, vêtements, affaires de toilette), mais l’espace est optimisé. Excellente communication avec Florence la propriétaire, sympa et arrangeante. Nous avons eu un souci avec la douche, Florence s’est montrée tout de suite disponible pour régler le problème. Il n’y a pas de salon, nous conseillons plutôt cette location en été pour profiter de la petite terrasse. La chambre est agréable toutefois. Relativement calme (maison de ville qui donne sur la rue, on entend les voitures qui passent mais il y en a peu). Les rideaux de la chambre sont peu occultants, cela peut être gênant pour ceux qui comme nous préfèrent dormir dans l’obscurité. A une dizaine de minutes à pied de la plage, dont nous avons pu profiter tous les jours avec notre petit chien (car hors saison). Il y a un portail avec une allée commune qui mène à la petite cour, ce qui fait que l’entrée ne donne pas directement dans la rue, rassurant quand on a des animaux. Stationnement possible dans la rue. Une supérette tout près pour les courses de proximité. Merci à Florence de nous avoir gentiment accueillis avec notre chien et notre chat dans son logement.

Nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables dans cette petite maison de ville, qui possède tout le nécessaire pour que l'on s'y sente à l'aise. Florence a été très disponible et arrangeante concernant l'arrivée comme le départ. La cour fermée était idéale pour entreposer nos vélos la nuit (même si des vélos sont également disponibles sur place) et nous a aussi assuré que notre chienne ne s'échappe pas lorsque nous profitions de l'extérieur. La localisation est idéale pour les balades à vélo le long de la côte, sur la véloroute de Ouistreham à Courseulles sur Mer.
