Amazing private beach with traditional summer cottage experience. Everything was explained clearly and it was easy to use all the facilities. Nature is mindblowing.

Most authentic archipelago wooden summer cabin in beautiful place in Velkuanmaa island in Turku archipelago. Cabin is in middle of the forest and very close to quite tranquil sea shore (10 meters) with good wood patio. Traditional forest cabin with good wooden sauna. Clean and in good condition, fridge, kettles and all badic amenities.Very peaceful, beautiful nature and no neighbours around. Complete relaxation. Cabin is solar power electricity, which worked fine. No running water, but in this kind of cabin doesnt need it, it is part of the true experience. It has good grill and true old school sauna.
Very friendly host and good experience for anyone who wants "original" Finnish archipelago cabin experience, and very recommended for those looking peace, tranquility and beautiful nature experience over "luxus" - altough for us who love this kind of cabin - it is the best luxus. Forget mobile phones, laptops and tv - and concentrate to beautiful nature around you and perfect scenery. Sunsets are so beautiful.
You cant find more peaceful and close to nature cabin from this area. There is also nice island restaurant near the parking place, from where the path starts.
We liked everything and for us this is not problem, but must be noted that it is some walk through of 1,3km / 20 min (beautiful) forest, so no driveway to cabin. Though if you come by boat, it is right there, 10meters from shore.

Beautiful place, you can really experience Finnish nature there . Place to relax and forget the outside world. There is no water inside and no warm water (you mix the boiled water from sauna with cold water, the traditional way), also no inside toilet. Cottage is simple but has a nice spirit. We enjoyed sauna and swimming. Beds ok. Good to also know is that there is no road until the cottage but a 1.5km walk through the forest which can be tricky with children. Owner was very kind and helpful.
Description was not clear about the location on booking.com site so it was a surprise that to get to the location we needed to take 2 ferries and walk 1.5km through the forest (with small children and luggage it was a challenge) so when the site mentions 35km to Naantali, be prepared this can take over 1,5h. Also the facilities were more basic what we expected based on the price.
