Fabulous location just off the high street.
Really spacious cottage with lots of quirky features.
Plenty of room for everyone.
Has a lovely feel to the place , very traditional , not everyone’s ideal but we really enjoyed it.
2 bathrooms , generous sized bedrooms & starts are not as steep as many old cottages !!
Downstairs shower room was very nicely done & a real bonus for those with less mobility.
Some of the features are a little in need of updating nothing major just a quick fix with a lick of paint.
There were dirty plates in the cupboard which was not nice.
Could not use the cellar room as was very damp due to a leak which we had been informed of so was being dealt with.

Location was great. comfy furniture
The shower cubicle was too small. The shower head needed replacing. I had to sit on the toilet sideways as the sink unit was in the way. The toaster didn't work properly , you had to hold the lever down and then turn the toast as it only toasted one side.

A homely and comfortable little cottage - well equipped and furnished and in a great location in the village. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely, big bedroom. Downstairs was adequately spacious for us and our big dog (who loved the cool interior in the very hot weather this last week). We really enjoyed our stay very much.
There were just a few 'niggles' unfortunately: neither TV worked properly and neither handset worked in spite of us purchasing new batteries for them. The toaster also doesn't work properly; you have to hold the mechanism down yourself and then it only toasts on one side at a time - bit frustrating! The cupboards and drawers, whilst full of crockery etc, need attention as the doors are rickety. The upstairs cold tap is 'reluctant' and very noisy, so probably also needs attention.
Parking can be a bit of an issue, although we managed to park further up the High Street. Sorry for a list but you ask for our feedback!

Good location. Wifi - surprised to have this as description says no wifi (needs updating)
Cottage was filthy and unhygienic. The kitchen was disgusting - bin had drips of food down it, crumbs and food on floor around bin, plates in cupboard had food on them, utensils and cutlery dirty, cracked plates. We had to wash any items we wanted to use. The cooker looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time with food on the bottom of the oven. There was food splashes on tiles behind cooker and the knife rack was covered in dirt. One of the dining room chairs had food stuck on it from previous hirers. Kitchen cupboards were dirty with food splashes on them.
Living room a good size but the cushions on sofa had large stains on them and there was food in gaps between the cushion seats on the sofa. There is a TV in the living room but it is stuck one channel as there is no remote control to change channel (various remote controls there, most with no batteries in them). Couldn't change the channel with the buttons on the TV.
Upstairs bathroom (loo/sink/bath) OK. Bedrooms spacious. However under one of the single beds, you could see a used tissue from a previous occupant. There was mould starting to form on one of the walls.
Downstairs there is a very small shower with toilet. If you were a larger person you would struggle to get in it. However, in the soap tray/dish in the shower cubicle, there was a comb with someone's hair in it, along with further hair in the tray/dish. Absolutely disgusting. If it has been cleaned properly, this would have been obvious.
The whole cottage looks uncared for and needs a very deep clean to make it hygienic. We understand this is an older property and it is quirky which is great, but we can honestly say it is the worst self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in (we are in our late 50's). We took pictures in case owner thinks we are making it up.

We like how rustic the property was. There are some comments about the stair gates, but these are fine. Easy to operate and good for keeping the dogs from going up.
Beds are really comfy.
Although rustic, the property good do with a thorough clean in the upstairs bathroom and my dog was munching on some old popcorn beside the leather arm chairs.

Excellent location. Warm and snug, with a pool table in the basement that we really enjoyed having the use of.
A blissfully quiet place for sleeping!
Reasonably priced compared with many of the other options in the area.
Shower is quite a tight fit for anyone very tall or wide.

Quaint cottage. Quite spacious considering it was a small cottage. 2 toilets with bath and shower. Nicely decorated and pretty.
The stair gates top and bottom were an obstacle but, safety at the top to avoid falling down the stairs! Stubbed little toe on step outside big bedroom when going to the bathroom in the dark from twin bedroom. Perhaps an automatic light could be fixed to stop others having same problem. Cutlery drawer was a mess and there was dust on surfaces as in ledge in small bedroom where socket is to charge phone. No bag in toilet bin. Only there for 2 nights so I didn't have time to clean it. Mattress was a bit lumpy . Mattress topper for comfort perhaps? Lack of hand towels in bathrooms and kitchen. Nice to have tea towels and dishwasher tablets. Needed a washing up sponge, I felt. Brushes looked a bit used. But it's a super cottage. Thank you.

excellent - much more space than anticipated and clean organised and felt like a home. lovely place.
nothing really it really is fantastic - other than one thing and a litttle not picking. I am over 6ft and I am not huge fan of things at the end of the bed stopping your feet hanging over the bed. prefer it to be open and if staying longer that might annoy me a little.

Amazingly spacious for an old cottage. Lovely combined kitchen diner and open plan sitting room. Good sized bedrooms, superb position in beautiful Blakeney. And a pool table in the basement!
Nothing really, no parking, but you expect that in an old village like this and you can use the carpark access the road, not expensive.
