Fantastic property! We had a bit of a hiccup getting checked in, but that was solved pretty quickly and the rest of our stay was lovely. We especially appreciated the invitation to share ripe fruit from the trees.

The property is better than represented. The guest house is beautifully furnished and appointed, the bedrooms and bathroom are great. The "great" room (living, dining, and kitchen) is very spacious and comfortable. The star is the back deck and views of the yard and surrounding area. A great spot for your morning coffee from the Keurig coffee maker. This is a huge upgrade from a similarly priced hotel room.

This place proved to be the perfect option for my family. We were close enough to San Diego that it was a quick trip, but it also was far enough away that it was tranquil and quiet at night when we were ready to relax at the end of the day. The hosts were prompt in communication, but they also gave us our space. The fruit trees with ripe fruit were the "icing on the cake". We enjoyed several fresh fruits with our breakfast each morning. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

There were many positives about our stay. Very nice house and property. Comfortable beds. Great location. Unfortunately we ended with the hot water heater going out. No hot water for our last day. the owner was notified first thing in the morning and he texted me that due to it being a Sunday and St Patrick’s Day, it wouldn’t get fixed until Monday. Was hoping to shower before we left. As I realize things happen, it was an inconvenience and disappointment for all of us to not have hot water to shower before we went to the airport

My family stayed there over holidays and it worked out great. One minor issue with WiFI was resolved quickly and no other issues. A lovely box of chocolates and quality bottle of wine was left at the door step Christmas Eve, a very thoughtful touch.

My wife and I stayed at this guest house twice during the month of June 2022. Our 1st stay was to attend our grandson's high school graduation. Our 2nd stay later in the month was for a wedding. The guest house had private parking for at least 2 cars. It was all one level so no steps needed to enter. Mike provided us with our own "Clicker" so we had access to the property after gates were closed in the evening. The house was very clean and all of our needs were met. There was a booklet with pertinent info about the house, local restaurants, etc. We found that very helpful. They had internet and tv cable service. Our only complaint and it was VERY minor was that the TV did not allow us to watch Netflix. We had a nice deck and we sat out there a lot. It had an umbrella so we could keep ourselves in the shade during the sunny days (which were everyday)! Now what we liked the best was the access to all the fruits trees! We got lemons (which I love with my water each morning). We got peaches (which the owners brought us too)!, There were oranges also. The fig trees were not ready but you could see they were going to be plentiful. The garden area was well maintained as was the entire property. We loved this place and if we have a reason to return, we'll certainly come back! Thank you Anya and Mike for being such wonderful hosts!

We were in town for a family wedding and had the pleasure of staying at this great property. Location is great and accessible. The hosts were so helpful and gracious. Our toddlers loved picking fruit off the trees to eat for breakfast! Thank you for an amazing stay. We hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful landscapes back yard with orange and lemon trees. Very clean inside and very safe as the property is gated with plenty of room to park a car. Owners were always. We both worked from the VRBO so my only complaint was that the Wi-Fi sometimes dropped and had to restart the router. Other than that, I give this VRBO five stars! We will be staying there the next time we are in San Diego.
