About this house rental
This house sets on Shafer's Waterfront Resort property located on Dike Road, Mojave Valley, AZ. Our resort has two houses 79306 (river view, but behind) and 1565718. We have 1 private deck, and boat ramp for your use. We also have a sandy beach area; as well as a grass beach area.
Our properties are located across the river from Needles in a gated community. One of our decks sets out over the river point and the other is just off our sandy beach. This house is less than 120 ft from the water. Both houses sleeps 6 adults, for a small fee you may add four children.
Shafer's Waterfront Resort has 120 feet of river front for our 2 rentals. The houses are on 2 lots, which gives you ample of parking for all your boats & toys.
The boat dock was dismantled on October 12, 2019 . We are waiting fabrication plans for our new dock. The water front deck has been rebuilt May 2021.
This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Inside, you will find 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 2 roll-away beds, and a twin air bed. The roll-away beds and the air mattress our kept in the master bedroom walk-In closet.
The couch may be used as a bed. Only if you cover it with sheets. Extra sheets sets are kept in each bedroom for your convenience. No more than 10 house guest is allowed.

Check in was extremely easy. Great location with plenty of parking. Towels, bedding, cookware, utensils were clean and plentiful. We are looking forward to returning next year - thank you, Shafer family!

First of all the listing was not very accurate and misleading. When they say that there is a private shared beach, dock, and launch ramp I was expecting that the beach and dock would be enough for 2 different groups to use and share. NOPE. Its pretty much for only the front house, or maybe whoever gets there first and claims their spot. I got to use the dock for maybe about 10 minutes because I happend to pull up when the other boat was out tubing. Other than that I didnt have access and had to take my boat out every night. Which I normally do anyway but when the listing says it has a dock I was expecting to not have to.
All of the above stuff also applies to the beach as well. At least there is a nice beach right across the river. The house was decent but it is behind the main house. We kind of felt like we were invading their space. Not to mention some random "friends" of either the owners or renters showing up and setting up camp on the launch ramp when no one was even around. We pulled up from boating and some random dude is on the launch ramp having a beer and listening to music.
Would not stay here again unless it was about $100 less per night.
