Sunshine House is a dream come true and 20 years in the planning! Owner has been vacationing at Wapato Point since 1980 and looked forward to the day when this home would be completed. The dream became a reality in the summer of 2008! All the finishes were picked out with quality and durability in mind as well as staying green. The floors are wood and cork and the only carpet used is also made from recycled green products and hypo allergenic. Sunshine house is "pet free" absolutely!$500 fine if any animal is brought on premises, no exceptions! Rentals are for ages 30 and up only ,must show ID when registering .

The great room has a lodge feel with a rough cedar plank ceiling, knotty plank floors and knotty Alder cabinets. This is balanced with an oversized Black Maple island to serve up all your gourmet meals. All counters in the kitchen are slab granite, gas stove and convection oven, a stainless commercial hood would make even Emeril feel at home!

The huge wrap around Trex deck has a covered area to bring the outdoor space in and is perfect for the outdoor kitchen and evening lounging to watch the Sunsets.

Master bedroom is fabulously luxurious with a fireplace and sitting area, French doors to outside deck looking out at the westerly view of lake and mountains. The bath is 5 star quality with a full walk in tile Rain shower with Glass wall surround, plus a large soaking tub, double vanity with modern Deco LAV vessel sinks and tons of counter space.

Main floor guest bath has an imported all copper vessel sink from Mexico and gorgeous Terra cotta tile in shower and floor.

Downstairs you will find two more bedrooms, an oversized king room with a king bed and private full bath as well as a child friendly room with full bed and trundle bed with two singles , also with a private full bath. Oversized patio is just outside the door .

We've been staying at Wapato Point every summer for twenty years, but this was our first time at Sunshine House. We loved our stay so much we have already planned our stay there next summer. The kids loved the proximity to the pool and the putting green, and the adults lived having a full bath available for every bedroom. The garage was well stocked with beach toys, to floaties, and even a kayak! Our favorite part of the house, though, was definitely the covered deck. Fantastic view of the lake, comfortably outdoor furniture, and protection from the sun so we could enjoy the outdoors all day. There were a few maintenance issues when we arrived (housekeeping has broken the washing machine door, and several lights were out in the living room) but Judy was highly responsive and had the issues addressed as soon as possible. We can't wait to come back next year!

The house was very nice, and the location is perfect. Quick walk to all the Wapato Point amenities - outdoor pool, indoor pool, shuffleboard, basketball, grass for playing sports, mini golf, watersports rental, walking paths, winery, restaurant. Plenty of room in the house for our two families of 4 with kids aged 4-12.

We have stayed in a number of houses on Wapato Point including waterfront, but this one is our new favorite! Big, spacious and modern. Tons of extras like games, floaties etc. plus lots of food condiments and a very well-stocked kitchen. Perhaps most importantly, communication with Judy was great. Emails got returned within minutes, every question or concern taken care of immediately. She is clearly focused on top-end customer service. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunshine House. It was a mix of three families with a total of 10 people. Proximity to the pool was great, especially with the kids, and the view from the deck was hard to beat. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, afternoon reading and dinner/evening happy hour out there. Judy was prompt to respond to our inquiries and we had everything we needed at the house for our stay: pots/pans, gas grill, dishes, utensils, etc. The kids found their space downstairs, allowing us peace and quiet every now and then. We would certainly recommend a stay here!

Really enjoyed staying at this property! Nice view of Lake Chelan, great common space to hang out in, and close to everything. Everything was covered in snow, but the roads were plowed all the way to the house, and there was plenty of sledding available all around for our kids. Beds were very comfortable, the coffee maker made great coffee, and we were just really happy with it. Can't wait to come back again!

Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, living space great for hanging out, playing games, etc. We also went ice skating in the community ice rink and used the indoor pool. The views from the house were amazing! The hostess was available when needed, involved and helpful. Great stay!

5 friends who haven't seen each other since the beginning of the pandemic needed a few nights away from kids and husbands, and found the perfect vacation at Sunshine House! Gorgeous views, open comfortable house, tons of games, walking ability to lake and wineries.... we truly could not have asked for more.
