Nice, cozy place at a convenient location

Nice, cozy bungalow at a convenient location. It’s not far from Joshua Tree NP.

One thing that really bothered us was the bathroom sink. It is very small — I think it is perhaps 8 inches deep, and half of it is blocked by a wooden shelf just above it (attached to the mirror). This leaves you with about 4 inches of space, and it is impossible to wash your face or brush your teeth without splattering all over the place. It is really quite a shame, as the property is otherwise cozy and clean. To us, it’s not a minor issue; it’s a major issue, because the first thing and last thing you do everyday is to wash and clean yourself, and this problem makes you start and end your day in a bad situation, which greatly dampens our experience.

The property is fantastic. Well connected to Joshua Tree national park for hiking and other activities. The property is well furnished and the rooms are large. Well equipped with kitchen equipment, sofa and tv and a large comfy bed. The shower is good and bathroom has adequate space. The property comes with a large garden and other amenities. Perfect for watching the stars at night. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. Couldn’t fault anything whatsoever.

Good location, but due to the extremely dirty apartment, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It has a good location, but unfortunately, the entire apartment was extremely dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for months.

I had to clean the toilet before using it. I have never seen such a dirty Airbnb in my life. There was a lot of hair in the shower, the towels and bed sheets were covered in fur, and the fridge was stuck with old food. To make matters worse, there was a cockroach in the kitchen. I have attached a couple of pictures.

Good location but a little dirty

Check in process was very smooth and the instructions were clear to get the keys. The location was excellent - a 2 minute drive from downtown Yucca Valley and a 20 minute drive to the west entrance of Josh Vegetation Area.

There was a used bar of soap in the bathroom when we checked in, which was a little off-putting. The mat in the shower floor was a little bit dirty as well.

Better furnishings— this was like a step above a motel 8- only one water source for entire apt— small shower that was impossible to use - a two star experience at best- host wasn’t even accommodating-

Poorly equipped kitchenette. Limited flatware and dishes. Ample supply of paper plates and plastic utensils though. No sink and small wash bowl in bathroom.

Nice house with a big yard, very large bedroom and king size bed. Bonus point: there were water bottles in the fridge, very thoughtful!

We had a wonderful time exploring the area and were pleased to only share for 2 nights.

For two people the unit the unit is good. For three it is hard. And the location can not be beat for everything we did in the mountains-Yucca Valley to 29 Palms. And the owner was very helpful and has someone onsite who can help.

Having the bathroom sink as the only source of water is a problem even with only two people. So a "kitchen" sink along the wall would be an excellent addition especially if one is eating a meal - even just breakfast. Also, the hot water too more than 20 minutes on occasion. Id someone has used the water in the am it too about 1- min. At night if water had not been used, there was a time or two when we did not get hot water so had to forego the shower. The owner should list the fact that the lockbox front drops down. We expected the metal lock piece to pull out. Also gate needs to work better.

Really nice and very clean place....would definitely stay here again. Just wish it hadn't been so cold outside...would loved to have enjoyed the patio. Was even too cold for Wisconsinites to sit outside! ;-)

Friendly host, big space, lots of natural light, strong water pressure in shower, nice Halloween touches, easy glide path to Pioneertown, no obnoxious cleaning fee.

Seems like the heating system needs to be overhauled. Repair person worked on one of the wall units when I first arrived, and it was putting out good heat when I left for a show at Pappy+Harriet’s. Returned a few hours later to find the same wall unit cold. Fiddled with a knob but couldn’t get it going again. Another wall unit was putting out minimal heat even though thermostat was set at 75. Slept fine once I was under the covers, but I was expecting the space to be warmer, especially because night temp was in the 40s.
