Nether Oslands

The location was perfect for where we wanted to go. The property is in the pub car park so not far to go for something to eat and drink! Netflix is available. Took a drive (about 10 mins) to Whitely Shopping Village which has some excellent shops.

The property is smaller than I expected, nowhere to wash up - the hosts kindly offer to take your dirty cups, plates glasses etc but it is not ideal. The swimming pool was out of bounds as it was very dirty (didn't look anything like in the photos on the website) and for the three days we were there the pool hoover was just plugged in and sat in the same place which was a shame as the weather was great and a dip would've been appreciated. The outside is very 'sad' looking and could do with a clean up and some of the wood that has just been left lying around moved.

Great communications with the owners and an easy check in/out. A lovely and unusual little place to stay with a garden area to sit in and pool to enjoy. Clean and comfortable. Good location with plenty of parking and right next door to The Old Ship pub which serves good food. Close to riverside walks and local shops.

The use of the swimming pool was a real bonus during our very hot stay

The maintenance of the garden is poor. Weeds everywhere and tiles missing of the pool. Water level needed topping up as well. A gardener is definitely recommended
