The use of the swimming pool was a real bonus during our very hot stay

Great location in Lower Swanwick as situated perfectly for walking and exploring the local area. The hosts very kindly accommodated our earlier check-in time and later departure time when we asked if these could be changed slightly . It was a quirky little place which was clean and tidy with a comfy bed and modern toilet and walk-in shower. Fridge was a useful bonus if self-catering.
Access was via the pub car park which felt a bit exposed and there was no dedicated parking space for the property which meant that anybody could park right outside the front door.
A notice on the wall inside the property explained that the outside pool and garden area was a shared space with the hosts' own house, but you could ask for privacy if required. Maybe this should be explained in the property details online as well.
Outside area and pool needed a bit of cleaning up at the time of our stay.

I liked the bed and the bathroom
The sofa bed they have advertised is not fit for purpose and the pool was unusable as the water was so cold.
