Velký prostor, bazén na zahradě

Klidné místo, vstřícný, starostlivý a vlídný majitel.

Ubytování nabízí opravdu nezvykle velký prostor, velké pokoje, velká koupelna, hala (obývák) jako na zámku, spousta oken (my jich měli 9), takže také spousta světla. Dům stojí v centru vesnice, vedle barokního kostela. Je zde velký klid a to ve dne i v noci. Krásné výhledy z oken. Z místa jsme vyráželi na všechna známá i méně známá místa v krajině. Toto místo je vhodné pro milovníky památek, ale také turistiky a cyklistiky. Pan majitel nás osobně přivítal a staral se neustále, jestli nám nic nechybí. Moc mu děkujeme a uvažujeme, že se ještě vrátíme. Jsme nadšení.

Ok, so it is rather long sorry, First when we arrived after a flight from barcelona and then an hour and a half drive from Prague, the host not only told us we had no reservation, but was actually a litte hostile about it. We went outside, despondent, tired and in the middle of nowhere. After 30 minutes online with booking.com, the hosts finally came back out, this time a bit nicer. Booking said they didn't answer repeted calls. I believe this as they never answered my first call. Only German and Czech is spoken, so be aware of that. So we were finally let in to a room that had to be made up. The place is massive, practically the lower floor of the house. It it equiped pretty sparsely, so bring your own coffee press, wine opener, etc. The place is being renovated, so I am guessing that in a year or two, it might be awesome - this depends on the host. For example, I asked where I could find a market and good restaurant. The owner told me Karlovy Vary (quite far), when in truth, just 5km away is Chyše where you'll find one of the best and cheapest restaurants called Zámecký pivovar Chyše - they brew their own beer. It is right behind a co-op (closes at 5/closed mondays be careful) so a market and place to eat was just an 8 minute drive, not 45. They should know this stuff. There really should be wi-fi, as network connection is almost 0. We used the wi fi at Zámecký pivovar Chyše. I will still never forgive booking.com for not sending them my reservation. This happened once before. And as a user for 10 years, this may well have been my last time. I think over time this place might get better, they seemed new at this, but I could be wrong. Also for a 7 day booking, they only replaced toilet paper once, there was no bath amenities (like of any kind), the sheets were questionable and scratchy (we slept on towels.) The kitchen would have been ok for cooking, had we known about the co-op sooner.
