Long Beach Resort 204

This was my first time at Long Beach but won’t be my last. Great location and our condo was very nice. I loved the balcony. The furniture on balcony was so wonderful!!

Would highly recommend. Excellent veiw of the ocean and great location on beach. Condo was in great shape and had all we needed.

The location was right on the beach, condo was close to stairs/elevator and the gate to the beach. Overall, the look of the place was nice - it was recently remodeled and updated. Counters were nice bathrooms were nice. It was cleaned, but only surface level cleaned.

The resort as a whole could have been cleaner. Everything looks clean on a surface level, but on further inspection, we see that this place could use a deep cleaning. Driving in, it does look clean, but walking around, all the floors are grimey, there was a dead rat/mouse next to the entrance to our building there the entire 4 night stay, cocroaches were crawling around everywhere. There were even some inside the condo. There were also some spiders and less intimidating bugs. The resort and condo as a whole could use some pest control. Also, in our condo, upon arrival, the towels left for us were soaking wet - we had to rewash all the towels and then realized the dryer was clogged or something and it was not properly drying the laundry. Owner came out late in the afternoon the next day to fix it. The dryer worked good afterwards. Other issue was that all the bedding had a musty water smell. We were very uncomfortable sleeping with the provided bedding and ended up purchasing bedding/sheets from walmart for the beds. The door to the balcony in the living room area appeared to be broken and did not close all the way. We ended up not using this door at all, and only used the bedroom balcony doors. The balcony was very big but unfortunately it was overcrowded with furniture and the floors were also grimy. We had to push some furniture just to make walking room, which we then realized there was trash under the outside lounge couches...just gave us a really dirty feeling knowing it's not been cleaned. The Fold-out couch in the living room also had a grimy smell. The master bathroom was clean, but the second bathroom had an accumulation of hair and dirt in all the corners and left over hair in the shower. There was food residue finger prints on a couple of the doors and wiping streaks on a lot of surfaces. We ended up cleaning a lot of the surfaces just so we could feel a little less gross.
