About this house rental
Located in downtown Charlottetown, in Brighton, on a quiet residential street close to Victoria park. One block from bus stop.
This home has a lot of windows with bright spacious living. 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The master bedroom is on the main level with an ensuite bath, 2 other bedrooms and a bath in the main level with a 4th bedroom and 3rd bath on the lower level. Extra living area with tv and small fridge on the lower level. The kitchen/dining/living area is open concept with lots of windows. So if you want to keep the house cool in the summer tip the blinds up / to keep the sun from shining down through the slats, in the winter tip the blinds down to enjoy the heat from the sun \. Enjoy the large wrap around deck with bbq. And off street parking available for two vehicles on the left side of the driveway.
Includes laundry, wireless internet, cable, 2 parking spots.
Walking distance to entertainment and great restaurants! Take in a show at the Confederation Centre of the Arts or at the Guild.
Enjoy a walk to the boardwalk along Victoria Park, all the way to the Waterfront at Peakes Quay.
If you’d prefer biking, MacQueens is nearby and they have bike rentals.
This home contains everything you need, just bring your suitcase.
Tips:
- during the summer months if the heat pump is cooling be sure windows are closed. (Unfortunately some window cranks were broken from guests not unlatching the locks prior to opening)
- be sure the blinds are tipped up to prevent the sun from shining in and heating up the house /.
-in the cool months tip the blinds down for the warmth of sunshine \
-throw the dishwashing tablet in the dishwasher instead of the cup as it doesn’t open properly.

* please be aware that there is a long term tenant in the apartment downstairs, at the back of the house. Their entrance is at the back corner of the house, at the stairs. Please use the door off the kitchen to access the deck and the backyard.

This is an older home that has character, it does need some updating which is expected. We were 7 adults and had ample space. This home does not have AC and the air circulation is poor thru the house. This has been discussed with the owner and she is aware of the situation.

The house was ideal for us. It was clean and well equipped. My only suggestion would be a little more heat in the late summer and early fall. We certainly enjoyed our stay there and if we go back to PEI I would surely want to book it again.
