Pass and Pause is 20 mins from Wollongong,1 hour from Sydney and 45 mins from Sydney airport, and 2 hours from Canberra.

The rooms were clean. The microwave knobs were greasy. The bed was very comfortable. All of the furniture and fittings seemed to be quite old but did their job. The name of the place was not on the outside of the building, so it was confusing about which of two or three buildings it could be. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and a live cockroach appeared from under the washing machine. There was no shampoo in the shower, which was very surprising for the price. The environment was pleasant with lots of trees and little noise except for the birds singing in the morning and evening. Parking was right outside the front door. There did not seem to be a directory regarding where to find things (e.g. the plates were not in the kitchen but in the bed/sitting room), what's in the area etc. If there was such a directory, we didn't find it. There was only a display folder with instruction manuals for the washing machine etc. The facility was a very good size for the price. The shops are a short, steep walk down to and along the main road. Breakfast was provided, consisting of small packets of breakfast cereal, milk, wafers, instant coffee and a few different teas. Overall, it was sufficient for our needs.
