85 a night, Cute, Clean, Quiet & Convenient

A nice, cozy place in quiet surroundings. Unit was very clean and we wanted for nothing.

We were able to enjoy down time at the house between motorcycle rides to many awesome places including the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very comfortable!

When we arrived we were surprised to see that this location was actually a single wide trailer that had seen many years of service. While the bathroom fixtures were showing signs of wear and tear, everything was kept in tip top shape. We did have a minor problem with the bathroom sink the day after we arrived but the owner corrected the situation immediately. This place is extremely clean and well maintained. The furniture new and is in excellent condition and very comfortable. The TV was a very large flat screen, and the internet was excellent. Although the bedrooms are small the beds are also very comfortable. We loved the kitchen. It was well equipped with just about everything a cook would want. (There is no dishwasher.) The unit is placed on the edge of a large field which is very private and has a country setting. It is very peaceful, and if you have good weather sitting on the front porch is a delight. They have some large wild turkeys that just walked about in the field while we were eating. We also saw deer in the field as well. Mills River is also a fantastic location. It is equidistant between Asheville and Hendersonville and is only about a beautiful 20 minute ride to either location. Some of the downsides are that the driveway is gravel and does have some rough spots. We have a regular sedan and did not have any problems, but I would not want to tackle it in bad weather. We also could not open the windows and had no screens. I do not know if that's because the owners still had them in a "winterized" mode or if they are always that way. We had a few warm nights and that made the bedrooms very stuffy. If there was AC I could not find it. Overall, for the price this was an excellent value. We would definitely stay here again in spite of some of the limitations. We loved the time we spent there.

Super cute little home that’s very peaceful and very clean.. also had a lot of amenities stocked which was nice.. awesome getaway for my husband and I.. would definitely come back to this place!

The rental is in an easy to access location. It was very clean, nicely decorated, weel-equipped and so comfortable. The property manager was prompt in responding.

Just a quick stay but everything was perfect and we already booked another stay with them.

I was in town with my son to help my sister with our parents move to assisted living. The trip was filled with anxiety but the home i booked was not! It was perfect for our needs. Incredibly clean. I cannot stress the cleanliness enough! Great location, private but within easy drive to everything! Great communication with owners. Will book every time i am in town! Thank you!

We came for a girls weekend and we absolutely LOVED this place. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us and convenient to all the things we wanted to do while we were in town. Renee and Gene were great hosts and we can't wait to come back! We would definitely recommend this place and we will certainly be staying here again.

This property was perfect in every way. It was quiet and private. I was clean, cute, comfortable and just far enough off the beaten path to see several species of wildlife. A buck, a doe, a rabbit and a wild turkey. We enjoyed just relaxing after a day of exploring and hiking. The owners were easy to contact if we had a question or issue and were quick to respond. We will certainly come back if we are in the area again.

This is a nice property close to Asheville convenient to the airport. I would recommend staying here.

Came into town for NYE and had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property. The location is super convenient to a lot of vineyards, breweries and other shops you might need like target or Walmart. Downtown Asheville is a quick 25 minute drive down the road. The place was super clean and the amenities were plentiful! Thank you for sharing your home with us! (:

Super clean and cute. Loved walking outside every morning to a herd of deer while we sipped coffee. Will definitely be back!

The area is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch watching the birds. A flock of turkeys came by every evening, and a hummingbird visited a couple of times. Even though it is in a secluded area, it is no more than 15 min from restaurants, breweries, and walking trails. We were in Asheville within 20 minutes. They included all kinds of amenities, including a K-cup machine, hair dryer and washer/dryer. The owner is very kind and did everything within his power to make our stay pleasant. Super clean and great water pressure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Gene was very personable and went out of his way to help us have the pinnacle of all visits! The Vrbo is clean and pretty and comfortable and homey. So cute and adorable. Visits from wild turkeys and deer amoung the corn stalks was delightful! We’ve already told our family and friends about this place and they are looking forward to planning their next visit and stay here! Ten stars out of ten for us! The property owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, including installing a Bike washing hose and outlet for our mountain bikes. And the memory foam mattress was the best. I will be getting one soon. This location is perfect for road and mountain biking and river access.

It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, clean, close to family, well stocked, and really comfy beds. Gene was great and went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed to make everyone comfortable. The turkey and deer made daily appearances and put on a great show for us just outside the kitchen window. We would absolutely recommend staying here and will certainly book our next stay to stay here.

Everything was clean and comfortable, the property owners/managers were thoughtful and attentive, and we were close to Dupont, Mills River, and Bent Creek for biking. Perfect!

Very, very clean. Enough seating for four to gather comfortably, plus a very large covered deck including a table and chairs, as well as regular outdoor chairs and a grill. Very 'homey', including throws on both the couch and loveseat to snuggle up in if we were cold. And stacks of towels! Very quiet area to be in, we saw deer and a variety of birds. We were pleasantly surprised to find the owners had stocked a lot of breakfast supplies, including fresh milk, which is very unusual. The bathroom was also well stocked with soaps and shampoo. The owner gave us directions to several restaurants, as well as verified that we knew how to get to the WNC Agricultural Center. He also wanted us to call if we had any problems including getting lost or anything else that could happen! Way above and beyond the ususal.

The owners of this property really go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable. There were many small extras that made our lives easier (for example: milk and cream in the fridge, coffee pods, breakfast bars, and single-serve cereal boxes in the pantry - all so that we could have breakfast the first morning). Plenty of sheets and towels. And it was both clean...and clean smelling. We will certainly stay here again if we are in the area!

Gene’s place is a hidden gem. Quiet, clean and an outstanding location just off the beaten path. He was a great host and we would stay here again.

Our stay in Mills River was wonderful! This is a comfy remolded gem. It was as advertised, cute, clean and quiet. Clean can be relative for some but with this place was "really clean"! Add to that the fact that the hospitality was top notch! They accommodated the fact that we have children, got us cereal and milk and the owner personally checked to see if everything was ok. If we have the opportunity we will be back. If you're looking for a nice hillside getaway this might be just the place for you too!
